Go to imgur, upload a picture of yourself, and off to the side it should have.  There should be a list of links off to the side, select the one that says BBCode (forums) and copy the link and tags and copy it to your post.

Old ass picture, ACen 2007 or something.

God, you know you have been to too many cons when you know exactly where that is, before even reading the text.

The music played in the opening/during/ending of FLCL blew my mind away. I became obsessed with Japanese music for the first time, even though I was exposed to it earlier (Sailor Moon era), but it never made an impact like FLCL did. From then on, my music interests grew and became vast that it's become a definition of who I am now.

It might be a bit of hyperbole, but honestly, The Pillows music in FLCL is a huge reason why I fell in love with Jrock, and eventually why this placed ended up existing XD

  3. This was lovely - I demand more! XD

Cassis I used to -looove- when it come out, but it has not held up to me at all. Not that is a bad song, but it just feels so bland to me now. This review also reminded how good Toguro is.

Shortest: 1.5 weeks. Man I am glad that one dies quickly. She dumped me but I couldn't have imagined this relationship lasting much longer than that in retrospect

Longest: 2.5 years...ish. God, what a slow and painful breakup. Even after she dumped me she never really let me go...and then she ended up going out with my best friend, who she has been with for nearly 4 years now (damn, it doesn't seem like that long ago).

Current: 1 year and 4 months. We dated once before and lasted for about 6 or so months. I ended up dumping her as it didn't feel right...and I am very glad I did. I think we jumped in to things too fast at first and we were able to redevelop things as friends. This second time around has been so much better XD

Update on the longest one since this is like nearly three years old lol.

Current one is now over 4 years - in March I proposed to her so here's to hoping that this one never ends! XD

  5. Perhaps this might be a thread better suited to the Jrock fans that have been around for a while, but I figured this could be a bit fun...

Back when I was first getting in to Japanese music (i.e. downloading), high quality album art scans weren't the most plentiful things in the world. Often the cover art I would have would be 200px x 200px, if not smaller...or maybe even just a crop from a poorly taken digital photo. Thinks have come a long way from then, and now it's far less a problem. But I have had the fun experience of now getting to look at new covers in new light lol. I figured it would be fun to share the albums that we were confused by that we finally understood upon seeing a higher res scan (or heaven forbid having actually seen the cover in person).

    I'll start it off.

    Dir en Grey - Vulgar

I always thought that these were arms - which I don't think I'm wrong on. But I though they were more human and attached to shoulders. Now I feel like what I used to think was some sort of shoulder pad is actually the arm being cut off?

Well then....I never noticed that baby in there...

Rentrer en Soi - Amongst Foolish Enemies

I was never able to make out what this cover was suppose to be of. At least now I can tell it's a person. Still a fucking awful  cover though

  6. In regards to the Dog in the PWO, I'm pretty sure there was an interview I saw on YouTube where they said their name was originally supposed to be "God in the PWO" and they had to change it to be less controversial. I wish I could find that interview again, but most of their videos are blocked now.

lmao, no idea how that would be controversial at all XD

Now if it was God is a POW, that would actually be a mildy interesting name - though hardly fitting and not any more controversial lol
