Kept my expectations very low before i hit play on the preview. I'm glad i did. I'll peep the full song or whatever but the clip, to me, isn't anything to get hyped up about at the moment. With that said, I am currently checking out SiM because of this and i'm liking what i'm hearing. There is some good here.

I've checked out Babymetal before and while I can't deem anything of theirs as bad, it's just not for me. That cutesy stuff is just a turn off and a lot of the time the musicianship is a hit or miss. Everything i've checked out has like 0 replay value to me. But i was curious and decided to check this thread out for the hell of it. I checked out Karate and this is my initial reaction: I have to give cred where cred is due. This song, mainly the instrumentals was pretty nice. Loads better than the stuff i've heard b4. The metalcore junkie in me REALLY wishes there was some kind of sick breakdown at the end or something though lol. I'll try and give this upcoming album a full, open minded spin, maybe i may find some more gems like this one.

Anyways.... Its understandable, there was a lot of controversy surrounding the band prior to the departure of the former vocalist. And i believe their first album and their last ones are worth checking out if you wanna try and get into em.

SCUMS is HIGHLY underrated. Surprisingly its an album that i can listen to throughout from start to finish. Yeah, it has its so so tracks but for the most part I agree that its the last "strong album."

This is awesome. ESP guitars are amazing and I hope i can get a contract with them too in the future!
