this release is such a trip, remastered I'll vocals sound better than anything they released post-2007 that involves Kyo; hearing mentions of "embarrassment" from this band over their fabulous past is surreal when you consider that dwarf sounds like an alcoholic pixie when he sings, and a hangover alcoholic pixie when he growls vulgar re-recordings they put on this to avoid paying sound engineers extra are unnecessary, the entire first half of CD III is in fact. I'm curious for the new album direction because I actually liked utafumi when it came out, but my interest for everything dir en grey/sukekiyo is almost dead at this point, their younger and more scenic copycats have completely filled the void of 2002-2005 Deg excellence for me at this point.

I'm fairly sure they're just fed up with each other, and see no opportunity to progress under this name, even shifting members around. I think so too. I don't think they were doing better than, let's say, the black swan, who were on vkdb's list of top-10 most searched bands last year, and still disbanded bc. of shitty live attendance. I'm p. sure they would've disbanded in 2018 anyway even if Kaz had no health issues.

iiid empire @02:03 - is this a joke? all three remakes are downgrading from originals in every aspect, and beautiful dirt is so close to original, yet still sounding worse; it doesn't make any sense to put this garbage on the CD. why not make a 2CD self-cover album with a "live concert e•mo•tion" idea behind it if the bar for retakes on their old songs is now set this low; at least more attempts at retaking would mean slightly more chances at covering something inventively by accident.
