  1. ^ lmao it'd be cool to drop a digital single so close to the release date of a freaking tape
  2. So happy to have my faves back. :') Tracklist looks good. Not a huge fan of this song at first listen, but I don't even care.
  3. I want to like Wagakki Band because 1) I'm always in for more stuff with a traditional sound to it; 2) they could help fill the void left by Kagrra,. But I feel like they have so much going on all the time instrument-wise that I just cannot enjoy any of their songs. If they could just tone it down a bit they'd be a lot better for me. As someone who's always enjoyed Onmyouza (more casually than anything though), I vote for them.

Ohh, nice to see Hakoniwa and Sayonara Arigatou in the setlist! Both are gems.

Got hooked on Tame Impala big time these last few weeks. i've also been listening to a lot of Company of Thieves and THE NOVEMBERS lately.

Never really listened to Aldious and am not interested in doing so, so my vote goes to FLiP. Their old material is great, especially their first EPs, and some of their newer songs are enjoyable too (hell, I was addicted to MADONNA for weeks, no shame).

    lmao this new thread title

^ regarding RES, I'm fairly sure nothing was remastered or anything like that. I'd say just keep the exclusive songs. pretty late, but to answer your question: Nao now goes by NAOKI and is working as support for various bands, as well as a tentative solo artist under PSC. but I assume you already know this by now. I think Shin is working as a producer for PSC bands as well. Izumi and Akiya probably became salarymen for all I know, I haven't heard from them since Kagrra,'s disbandment. Still hoping Akiya pops up in a new band with people from me-al art or whatever, but that's wishful thinking at best.

Didn't know he had released solo stuff before, I assumed he was just a new guy in the scene. I shall go after his albums then, thanks for the recommendation!

Tracks 10, 12 and 13 were the only ones who caught my attention, oops. At least the album has a big chance at ending on a high note I suppose!

Damn, they started the show with this one? I wouldn't even be able to deal with the rest tbh. Hope this ends up online eventually. </3

Man, that new bomi song is catchy! She really is consistent with her stuff. I never heard any moumoon before too, but that song sounded really boring. The (lyric) video was really nice though. Suiyoubi no Campanella is something I just cannot get into. I don't know, I may end up liking it later on. The music behind it is not bad, but I just don't get the appeal. ):
  13. the Kagrra, one that never got made Voted for TAMTAM, Uchuu Conbini, Tokyo Jihen and Charisma.com. They're the most memorable ones for me.

^ This song is amazinggggg. Neo culture is such an underrated album. 久遠 is one of their top ballads too.
  15. Funny Bunny! sounds just as bad as the main song, but the other two sound good! Every once in a while they still release a memorable b-side (like 氷の墓標), so there's hope here at least.

This is probably my favorite single from them since I don't know, Gekisei? I'm glad their identity crisis and failed attempt to be heavy and angsty seem to be over.
  17. I'm honestly enjoying the hell out of both songs. I really don't get the hate this time. NIPPON sucked and sure, her early albums are better, but these are pretty great too.
  18. If it wasn't for Akira, Rakka would be rather bland. But those guitar riffs. It's an okay song like the other two singles (Mime and Slow). Pura is more of an album band for me and I almost never enjoy their singles by the time they come out, so I'm not worried.
  19. D has always made lighter (and actually good!) songs; the fact that this one differs from the current trend of VK in terms of sound is not the point. Not to mention even their heaviest songs have been sounding exactly like each other for years now too. The thing with this song is that it's highly unremarkable, the concept is beyond worn-out and they've proven they can do better than this plenty of times. It gets weird when all of sudden you go from songs like Blood Moon and 風に嫁いだバイラオーラ to this.
  20. sakanaction will release a new single called "新宝島" on September 30th. The disc will include three songs total (I'd assume a b-side + a remix, but don't quote me on that). Title track will be a tie-in to the バクマン。(BAKUMAN) movie. Source: Facebook REJOICE
  21. Don't do either. Animes were a huge part of my early teenage years, but it's not something I'm interested in anymore.
  22. they were better off in the hiatus
