I still have to listen to this one a few more times before I can say anything (I'm surprisingly pleased with it so far though!), so I'm not gonna post a full-fledged review or anything, but I just wanted to mention how TONIGHT's chorus is straight up copied from MCR's Helena. lol

Not really the kind of music I'd expect him to come back with, but I'll probably still check it out because I adore his voice.

Samples of his first mini-album were so terrible that I couldn't even take it seriously, which is a huge shame. This one sounds a lot better ("real" seems like it's cool), especially production-wise, but it's still average. Will check it out if it ever pops up online.

Gifts most definitely aren't a big deal; they're fun to receive every once in a while as something to think 'oh, he/she thought of me, that's cute', but there's a lot more that's more important. Spending time with someone, getting to know them intimately in a day-to-day context and enjoying their company whenever possible is what relationships are about to me.

tested with regular in-ear headphones plugged into my PC and got 1/6 right. 5 out of 6 times I picked 320 or WAV, but I really couldn't tell what was different between the 128kbps versions either. not really an audiophile too.

I was a heavy kpop fan from 2009-2011 (by the time DBSK released "Mirotic"), checking out every boy/girl group that would pop up in the scene. Ended up being immersed in it completely after more and more friends kept recommending me Korean music. What turned me off from it, besides the whole "fandom" stuff, was seeing how companies treat people and how Korean media as a whole deals with them (the "aegyo", the "ideal types", all those things). There's some hugely childish and prude behavior from everywhere and it gets old fast. However, some of the music is actually pretty damn great, despite being sung by a bunch of teenagers most of the time, which is why i'm voting "I do like it from time to time" here. MBLAQ, SISTAR, Gain and SHINee, as well as some other things from the period I mentioned above, are still in regular rotation in my music playlists. If it sounds good, I don't see any problem in liking any of it. Korea has some good pop producers/composers. You know what's truly embarassing? Modern VK fans having an elitist mindset towards people who like kpop when both things are essentially the same these days.

Sounds great! Looks like they got a bigger budget from their XIBALBA times too, which is good. Tracks 3 and 5 seem like the best for me, but the others sound good as well.

Anyone that's late should just be aware that there's going to be spoilers here. Anyway, seems like Katya was a huge favorite during the reunion recording from what I've heard. She'll probably end up being the most popular from this season in the long run if we disregard the white gays thirsty for Violet and out-of-drag Pearl. Ginger winning would be glorious and I'm here for all the bullshit that would come right after the results.
