yall  have no taste when it comes to looks smh, the weird shit is at least interesting and creative when you compare it to the boring-ass "check it out bro we're all wearing SUITS" or "dude we're totally wearing kimonos lmao we're so traditional" looks that way too many vk bands do nowadays
 
i'd much rather take the weird yoda stuff over smth like kiryu, who have basically been recycling the same 3 or 4 general styles their entire career, for example.. for people who claim to be into visual stuff a lot of y'all are still pretty quick to write off anything that deviates from the generic vk pretty boy norm

but i still cant perceive a grown man wearing skirts and with glittery femme make-ups -- even after 20 years of enjoying japanese rock.
 
i loved old-school dir en grey --- just without imagining them with those attires. 

You'd be surprised, it's disgusting how in Japan every time they start playing Sustain the Untruth, the fans act like Christmas came early. Seen it 30+ times and by the end of the tours I would feel like the band was doing it on purpose just to mock me. A show without Sustain was like a gift. Easily the most annoying Dir en grey live track. 

I actually agree. I'm not expecting to be blown away, but 詩踏み set my expectations very low, so I think I'm just really excited 'cause nothing I've heard yet sucks. I think I'm more excited to hear the re-recordings though, so I'm still waiting impatiently over here... *tries to remember how long it took ARCHE DISC 2 to leak*

Unpopular opinion: I  think I'm the only person here who isn't blown away by the new album. Maybe it'll take more listens but barely any of the tracks are grabbing me at the moment. On first impressions it's like a bland Dum Spiro Spero, and I'm not a huge fan of that album.
 
Ranunculus is the stand out track to me. 赫, Followers, and 谿壑の欲 interested me the most I think. The rest just washed over me. I think it's the first time one of their albums hasn't immediately grabbed me unfortunately. 
 
I cannot stand the new vocals on 詩踏み, they sound like a half-arsed live version in comparison to the original vocals. I find it akin to the album version of 激しさ. Ew.

I never commented on the samples. Most looking forward to 軽蔑と始まり, Downfall, Followers, and 谿壑の欲. I am totally falling in love with Ranunculus; I still don't understand why they named a song like that with a PV like that after a buttercup flower. I might be able to tolerate the album version of 歌踏み; kyo's gibberish fribble-fribble is less comical.
 
Holy Fucking Hell, the re-recordings of 鬼眼 and 理由 are going to be incredible!

All of these notifications are driving me crazy. With all the people posting now, I keep coming here thinking samples have come out, or the album leaked, and each time I cry.

That's the best look I've seen from them in years! I kinda want an album as much as the next guy but at least we're consistently getting new releases. That and I really love the instrumentals the singles comes with that the albums neglect.

コドモドラゴン (CODOMO DRAGON) will be releasing a their 6th single since WOLFMAN, "想葬" (Sousou), on November 7th. As per the exhausting BP routine, the single will be released in four types, submit all obi strips to get a tour pamphlet, they'll do a one month tour for the single (from November 10th to December 16th), and play a tour final on January 9th, 2019. Maybe at that show, they'll announce an album...
