Kabukichoatmidnight got a reaction from mushi308 in DIMLIM
All this sounds a bit dubious to me. I really would love this new album to be killer and DIMLIM to do well with this Mexico show and in the future, but can't see it paying off somehow. I'll get the album as want to make proper judgement, but expecting a train wreck.

JILUKA will start selling merch in the US, through Chaotic Harmony. I don't know what kind of merch, or who Chaotic Harmony is, but we can hope it's more than just rubber bracelets!

Kabukichoatmidnight got a reaction from Arkady in キズ(Kizu) new single 黒い雨 (Release 2019.10.29)
This really should have been the single itself, WAYYYYYYYYYY better than Kuroi Ame, even the other B-Side is better than main single track. But yeah, got to admit considering this is the only song I actually liked that much on either version, feeling like I'll be skipping this release. Would have liked to check out the live footage but I'm not paying that ridiculous price for it, you can buy the 4th oneman DVD which is a whole set (as far as I can tell) for the same price.... So why would you pay the same price for just a few songs? Feels like a bit of a rip to me. lol.

This and the ridiculous price tag is why I skipped this release. haha.

I respect the effort but idk what's worse between hearing him sing in English or the fact that it took up 2 songs with what I consider one of their more boring individual songs.

yeah that died in Japan. too much new stuff and concerts

Not sure why people are so surprised they're mainly playing songs from the Insulated World, ya know, considering it is their latest album and they're obviously still trying to promote it. haha. Am glad to see "The Final" is starting to get dropped from setlists as well, I know it may be an unpopular opinion but I seriously think it's one of their most boring songs (Jessica is pretty whack too....haha) and almost always skip it. haha. So would rather that time be taken up with something better.

Before Issei left every Dimlim song sounded like it was recorded while the band fell down the stairs

Kabukichoatmidnight got a reaction from zaa_zaa in DIMLIM
Have said this from the beginning and although later DIMLIM is still all good in my opinion, still a much bigger fan of the Issei days. And not going to lie, if Issei was still "in charge" of DIMLIM, (which I'm aware there are/would be problems with, we're just assuming everything would be cool and Issei isn't a nobsack) they'd probably be thriving and kicking plenty of ass still. I mean look at NAZARE, seem very active, doing a lot of shows and putting out a good load of releases, some tracks which in my opinion would've worked pretty well as follow ups to the early DIMLIM stuff (look at Innocence for example) so it's a shame how things have worked out but I still 100% think Retsu needs to just leave DIMLIM alone for now and go back to music with DIMLIM or without DIMLIM when he has his shit together basically. This "second album" if it ever gets released is either going to make or break the band.

I know he's a dickhead, but he is legitimately a great musician and song-writer and as that was my favourite era of DIMLIM I consider that quite a big blow, I mean they have shown they can write good music without him, but they haven't really shown they can manage themselves since Issei left, and since NAZARE seem to be doing pretty well for themselves, so regardless of how much anyone likes/dislikes him, he puts in the work writing good music, gets shit done business wise and overall manages his band(s) much better. So ya know.....

Remember, a 『Real fanS』™ would rather not listen to their music at all than downloading it illegally. Because that's how 『Real fanS』™ support the band: By not listening to their music!

It’s ridiculous for him to assume that fans overseas are just gonna sit and not listen to it because of piracy. He needs to think before choosing to release something like that to a limited amount of fans in one small area
