Their new photo is pretty lit (literally)!

Also they wrote about their "new band concept" but I'm not too well-versed in Jp to translate it:

It just says something about releasing stuff that'll "cut deep" into the darkness of the world and people of current times or something to that effect. It's nothing that actually gives anything away about what the sound will be like.

    Despite these demos/tapes being limited?
Like, it started with Adoratio. Audio video collection, probably limited blah blah. And then, then announced they're gonna sell Anima, Adoratio and Inifintum through Galaxy Broad Shop, and only first CD (so no video footage). And it was cheaper, iirc.

Depends how limited they are really doesn't it? If there are only 200/250 copies of something then sure that's pretty limited but if there are 1000 units that can hardly be classed as limited.... + How can a band really say their one little song of 3/4mins or whatever is worth $250 or whatever? lol. Veterans or not, no song is worth that money, guess they must be getting desperate in these hard times.

  3. Didn't see this mentioned anywhere yet but Misui are set to release their second single "Kokyuu" on January 27th 2021. No artwork or samples shown as of yet but so far it seems it'll only be released in one type containing three songs.

    ‪02.いないいないばあ

    ‪03.理想のカノジョ

I'm looking forward to this one as so far their stuff has caught my attention and seems promising. Nice mix of traditional VK with a bit of a heavier edge and plenty of good riffs.

  4. Man this is such a deep topic with a complicated and non-straight forward answer as everyone will cope differently. But I guess from my experience the only way to pick yourself back up if things are that bad is to go for a bit of a change of lifestyle. Like make big changes, not saying dress differently or change your music taste but more like, think about your job/studies, the area you live in, your social activities, the people you hang out with etc.... are all these things satisfying for you? Do you need a change of scenery? Or even just an adventure somewhere completely new, meet some new people etc?? Even if just on a vacation or whatever. I guess basically it's a case of, if what you're doing isn't making you any happier you need to switch things up until you do feel better. Like I wont go into my own situation too deep as that would take forever but one example I have is quitting drinking made me feel a lot better, not getting into the same dumb situations, not hanging out with people who weren't healthy for me to be around and mainly that not drinking just made me feel a lot healthier in general, not feeling so damn tired all the time and never going to miss those hangovers. So that was one thing I changed that showed clear positive improvements. :) So figure out what works for you and go with it, isn't an easy road but determination can take you there!

Ah, the novelty of owning rarez 😅😅

Anyone who owns that kinda stuffs better have elaborate legal plan  how they will inherit the goods and to whom in case something happen to them sinc eit is pretty much an investment. Otherwise those millions spent can always end up in salvation army or something 😂😂😂

Have thought about this myself, as I own a good handful of pretty rare albums/dvds/video games that will be able to be sold for good money so it'd be a crime to just have it all end up in a charity shop or something..... fffffffffffff that! haha. A couple of my mates have already started sorting this apparently, like one mate was telling me how he's got an excel spreadsheet which lists his comic book collection and how much everything is worth in case he dies unexpectedly and ends up leaving this stuff to his family or whatever. hahaha.

Hm have you read their statement ? Because it's not the typical "if this amount of people don't come to our live we will disband" thing.

Nope because the translation link is already dead and I'm too lazy to figure out the Japanese right now.

I gotta be honest but this stinks so bad. Like how is covid holding them back? Sure they can't play shows but they could still be writing/releasing music..... This feels to me like an extreme marketing tactic like "we haven't played any shows for a while and need some dollar so we're going to make out like we're going to quit to get more people into this show and make loads of dollar". Seriously, Kizu in comparison to a lot of more modern V kei bands have been doing pretty damn well as far as I can tell (correct me if I'm wrong) so why would they feel endangered of needing to disband? Doesn't make any sense at all. But fuck it, most of my favourite V kei bands have already disbanded or gone on "indefinite" hiatus so wouldn't be surprised if these guys call it quits too. Maybe I curse bands somehow, sorry guys.

I love his style and would hate to see it be replaced by suits and clean face :(

Yeah i can't see him going clean kei anytime soon.

  8. This is exactly what I'm after from them tbh. I have a couple of their releases but only been into some of their stuff generally so a best of will be nice. Funny this comes out a little while after the coupling best of albums too. Kinda thought this would come first. 😛

If you can't see what's wrong with those interview videos they released on youtube or with the lack of direction/communication that's going on currently, then I'm sorry but I can't spell it out for you more than it's already been done. I don't even know what you are arguing against/for anymore.

Well said and every post you've made here has been absolutely spot on. I agree we need to disagree and drop this now but after all this I find it completely bewildering we have one member who literally doesn't seem to be understanding anything anyone is saying and tbh their obsession with DIMLIM from what they've said here is a bit scary. So there's no point anyone saying anything if you don't think everything DIMLIM have done revolving the release of MISC and post has been anything short of incredible. Haha.

As many have said, the change of musical style and look wasn't the problem for me either. Just a shame to see this band who were doing so well for themselves basically destroy themselves. I mean with the lack of activity and engagements of any kind they have no one to blame but themselves for people losing interest in them. And the comparisons to Dir en Grey changing styles are completely dumbfounded as yes, they changed styles, but they were also WAYYYYYY more popular after releasing their first album than DIMLIM have been in their entire career. Unless DIMLIM secretly did a sold out show on the release of VARIOUS or CHEDDAR no one has ever told me about?? Lol.

Funny it was mentioned that NAZARE show reports recently have claimed they weren't well attended.... I saw some clips Issei posted of drumcams during shows and was actually surprised how well attended they were considering the situation and the impending disbandment.... :/ But ya know what, maybe NAZARE disbanding is DIMLIMs guardian angel, maybe Issei should come back and set Retsu and the lads straight and make them great again. Why not bring uta along for the ride as well? Haha.
