Almost as much as I paid for the GAUZE LP back in the day.
Luckily, I'll get mine for 10k tops But it's just the single, nothing of the VIP extra stuff.
I think that's why those on mercari are so expensive.

oh man, thank you so much!
I asked on reddit as well, will compare your versions now 😆
Alright, everything's done:

What's missing is the translation of each song, since the booklet apparently didn't include those.

Anyone wanna transcribe these for the wiki? 😆

The boxes were shipped yesterday and of course, they're on mercari already for... nice prices
I hope I can get one for less than that ><
I take it nobody here has gotten theirs yet, right?

Yeah, and this scammer even managed to copy all that.
QuoteHe would even state that Dynamite Tommy, the owner of Free-Will, had taken his bank book, which is why he frequently demanded money.
This is honestly the most believable part lol

Didn't someone from this forum send me their pics of their JEALOUS single a year or two ago?
Because it looks like there are even variants of one of the three versions... but the only difference is the mould SID code ._.

I am, as long as my friend sticks to her promise of selling me her second copy.

I really, really wonder why they put emphasis on the new artist name, tbh. Almost seems like they want to avoid paying the actual band, DIR EN GREY, so they use a different artist name for the Ambient Collection... but I don't know their contracts of course, so it's just an uninformed assumption lol

Josh Wilbur mixed Ochita Koto no Aru Sora, Jens Bogren mixed CLEVER SLEAZOID (and disc 2 of TIW).
Mastering on all songs was done by Brian Gardner.
The lyrics not being available in the digital release done on Kyo's wishes, but they'll be included in the Pia Arena MM special package.

Kyô -> Nishimura Hironori (in Japanese 西村 宏則)
Toshiya -> Hara Toshimasa (in Japanese 原 敏政)
Kaoru -> Niikura Kaoru (in Japanese 新倉 薫)
Die -> Andô Masaru (in Japanese 安東 大)
Shinya -> Terachi Shinya (in Japanese 寺地 晋也)
That's true, at least according to ASCAP (the American rights society that handles their credits stuff in America, I guess).
Don't know where the Japanese fans got the kanji from, though. Their source is a different one than ASCAP... still wonder about that tbh

Don't know what it is, all I know is that I immediately noticed it as something "off" in the song.
Maybe it's just me, dunno^^

At 3:32, when Kyo begins the last verse, there's a "TSCHING"-kinda sound.
-
Hmm, when I listen to those albums, I don't even notice the stuff you guys always mention.
Or maybe I do, but can't accurately describe them.
The only thing I usually notice is when there are weird sounds in the song. For example, in the live version of Followers on the single, Shinya makes a weird sound later into the song, which I immediately noticed.
I also noticed that the intro of the CS remakse sounds weird, but I wouldn't be able to describe why.

is kyo's name really tooru nishimura guys?
On a more serious note: I'm still happy that I don't have an ear for music lol

My dude, that was a joke/jab at their 37-part spotify song.

I heard they will be releasing the band scores for ARCHE and The Insulated World soon, but you need to pay 100 Yen for each page separately.
On a more serious note: If the song is available from 0am JP time, wouldn't that mean the EU would get it 7 hours earlier? at 5 pm Sunday?
Or how do streaming services and iTunes stuff work with timezones?

I mean, what's there to be happy about?
A new single? Wow, other artists put out entire EPs (Bring Me the Horizon) or even albums (Tallah).
Concert livestreams? Wow, one concert livestream, while other artists manage to put entire tours together (Suicide Silence). The very same livestream that's then included on the physical version of said single by the way.
And then their label's audacity of uploading boring ambient versions of their songs in multiple parts to get some scrapes from their fans streaming those. As if that would make a difference. And it's not even done under the DIR EN GREY band name, so it's made even more obvious that it's just a cashgrab.
Or their super-hyped livestreams that turned out to just be studio audio playlists, curated by the members. Wow, so imaginative, much special, what are Spotify playlists?
Or their LIVE ARCHIVE, which could've been an insane database of all the stuff DEG has done over their career. Instead it's some random DVDs - not even a knot stuff, mind you - that every fan with the bare minimum of interest has already watched.
Or that the label acts as if putting the music on streaming websites would be this supersuper cool thing, that nobody has ever thought of, when streaming has been huge for years. Only to THEN put out fucking radio edit versions of their songs.
Of course this pandemic doesn't hit everyone with the same force, but compared to almost all other bands I listen to, DEG hasn't done a whole lot.
And of course I know that they're currently writing and recording their next album. But even then they could do stuff like vlogs or so.
Or maybe I'm just salty because shit-krad keeps striking my videos lol
