Yea and my point was it was a bad idea to riot and try to tear up the police station as they have the guns. They have the right to defend to themselves....the irony

Yeah....no, rioting doesn't do much justice for one death. Definitely not, if it means losing thousands of dollars for business which now jeopardizes the livelihoods of business owners. Also, the city will probably have to spend more money on repairs which will take money away from potentially more useful use of the money. While you can feel a sense of empowerment, the consequences won't justify it.

lol that is because that practice of "try all the songs before you buy" is a newer one. I am assuming, with the insistence of Japan to still be CD driven, the intent for you to buy the whole thing is to get access to all its songs. I used to get burned by terrible releases before this internet sharing thing, I had to eat the reality of working 3hrs (8dollars/hr) was for nothing.

I get your point though, it does makes sense.

JukaForever got a reaction from Tetora in If you didn`t have Japanese Music, what would you be listening to now?
I was going to say hip-hop at first, as I am a big hip-hop head, but the whole reason I got into Japanese music in the first place was due to me trying to distance myself from it since it was super shit around 09 ish....still is shit now though -.- I would say I would've delved deeper into old Soul, RnB and Blues music. As it is the basis of hip-hop and I probably would've bought a crap ton of box sets to get me started too. I would still be introduced to KPOP though as I watched quite a bit of foreign movies and korean ones take up a majority of them. It would be natural for me to follow up on the music and see what they are about. So financially, it wouldn't be better as I am a music lover in the first place and would still be buying music on the regular.

Japanese music just brings more diversity to my music collection. I probably wouldn't get into rock/metal if it wasn't for it. Other than that, it isn't that big part of my life. I live in Canada so it doesn't have much of a cultural impact for me to start "seeing the world differently." I already did before I got into it.

The big point alluded to is not just the repression of sexuality in Japan, it's the repression on Female Sexuality that is the issue. There was an entertaining bit on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart that covered how any bit of displayed female sexuality is heavily suppressed (and in cases some people face jail time), where as men have festivals dedicated to blowing up gigantic balloon penises and celebrating their triumph over a demonic vagina with teeth.

Also, totally off topic but I had to mention this: Lolita is in no way about the "sexualisation of a minor". Whether you consider it to be an allegorical tale about totalitarianism or not, the ultimate focus is placed on the main character Humbert Humbert and his personal struggles, and not just about his sexual adventures with a minor, though many have been lead to interpret it this way. Kind of like how Kafka's Metamorphosis isn't just a story about a guy who wakes up one day and realizes he's a bug.

It is not meant for portability. The fact that it is an open headphone already tells you that you shouldn't walk around with it unless you really want to let other people hear your music. Also since outside noise is entering your headphones, it is going to affect the sound that you hear, you wont be able to have a proper listen to its actual sound quality.
Write a review it would be interesting to read your thoughts on it.

This idea always horrified me and I have seen it happen on some of the tamest bands to ever play. This is why I avoid most rock concerts unless it is held in a theatre. I am too frail for that stuff, I much rather prefer synchronized headbanging.

JukaForever got a reaction from Tetora in Vocalists and Singers....?
By definition, the 2 words are the same thing. As long as the sounds that comes out from their mouths are somehow melodic, it counts as singing subjectively. The only reason it wouldn't be is because "singer/singing" is associated more, by majority, to the typical way of singing in soul, RnB, pop and such genres. That is just one way of singing but that style is quite predominant. Rapping, growling, screaming and others that are defined is just a style IMO used by a vocalist to sing. It is just to avoid confusion that we properly defined vocalists that use these styles as a rapper, growler, screamer , etc.

No, they are synonymous terms. I don't see how talent can be objectively be better just by using a different term to describe what is they do. It is almost akin to saying a football player is better at football than a soccer player.
No respect is lost being called a singer, again, I don't see how a synonymous term can allude to something different. Vocalist singing at their specialized genre is more respected by those fans of the genre and less so than those not interested in the genre in the first place.

M50/X: Good choice, if you are going for some thing well balanced. I don't like the fit of these but it may be "form-fitting" for your ears.

DT770:  will be the most comfy, whole cups will surround you ear. It will have more treble presence than the M50s though. Some people don't like these for that reason but in my experience, it wasn't too big of a deal listening to metal.

Momentums: Not sure which ones you are going for. The on-ear version are not worth it IMO as it is just a typical bass headphone. The circumaural version lacks treble, IMO, not good if you are wanting to hear a sense of clarity.

K550: I wouldn't bother with these unless you are using them strictly at home and with minimal head movement ( no head banging). The clamping on these are crap and will fall off easy. Also due to the crap clamp, you lose seal which means you lose bass.

The only other recommendation I could recommend is the Mad Dogs by Mr. Speakers, they are well balanced sound wise and are super comfy. Perfect for trance but especially rock/metal.

I dreamt about playing support bass for a band but kept on abandoning due to wanting to pee. For some reason, I took the 20 min walk home just to pee. I came back to the play just in time to perform for the main band but had to leave again after the first song. Went home again but this time I was fed dinner and moments after finishing my meal called in to get back asap. As I left my home, I was offered a ride to the play. However, as soon as I got on the ride, I had the urge to pee again. I held it in this time. When I got to the play, I was put to perform for a live hip-hop band. However after only one song, the bass guitar was taken away from me and given to some girl who proceeds play to well enough to astonish the crowd. I watched in amazement of how well she played and had the feeling I was being showed up but I couldn't keep my eyes off of her and wanted to hear her play some more. Then I woke up with a massive urge to pee

Being a teenager doesn't mean much in terms of not being able to buy products. Whatever you want will typically cost money. If you can't afford something then dont buy it. I didn't grew up rich or anything like that but that only thought me that whatever it is you want, you must work for it. In my case, I spent my spare time working after school and fulltime during the summer break. I could afford whatever I wanted within budget of course.

Been playing 3-4 hours of dark souls 2 per day in the past week mostly for PVP reasons plus watching vids of people's experience with the PVP system. For people that don't know, original/real PVPers of the souls series tend to limit their soul level in a way to be creative in their builds and not just be an overpowered mess.

    Example:

Wear heavy armor and use strong heavy weapons then you will be slow and susceptible to strikes if you miss in a swing.
Be a spell caster and level your spellcasting abilities and you will lose out on defense and other areas such as health.
    and so on.

The capping of level essentially creates a disadvantage on one area but not enough that you can't be good at something else. This makes using intelligent decisions (that fits your style of play) to be the overall factor if you want to win in a duel. The variety in builds to fight against as well as knowing that the "fight" isn't all that based on strengths of spells or weapons used is what made the PVP part of the souls series to be so long lasting. You can literally poke a guy to death with a stick and win a duel.

Now the PC players are a complete face-palming mess. Everybody just levels up, wear heavy armor, spam 10 different spells, max out maneuverability, health and endurance to maximize the amount of swings possible with their ultragreatsword. On top of that, they have the nerve to bow to me like it was a fair fight -.- I am pretty sure many of them are new to the souls series and probably still have the notion "level up = good" but where is the fun if everybody has the same builds? From Software is partly to blame as leveling up is pretty much encouraged and competitive matchmaking is non-existent. They don't mind having a level 50 player fight against a level 250 as long as the level 50 player has accumulated enough souls (so instead of leveling up, I choose to cap myself to 50 and continue accumulating souls) to be in the same category as the 250 player whom has accumulated the same amount of souls.

Here is a guy checking out PC players reaction to one of the more tedious bosses to defeat. Now this is a boss you will meet in the middle part of the story in which you should have mastered the mechanics of the game by then but that last guy though ...

There is more to say but the rant must end.
