Reminds me of when Jimmy was in LAVERITE, except more polished. Gunnar looks like he signed up for a power metal band, but he got this gig, and was like fuck it, it's a job.

I mean I’m a huge fan of Mejibray, and at the beginning, even though I went to a couple of 8P lives, I was massively conflicted about it. Then (in my opinion) the quality of the music began to improve and it became apparently that they were expressing what was basically an apology to the fans that they hurt in the process of breaking away - which yes, they didn’t need to apologize, I get that a lot when I bring it up, “they don’t need to apologize for being true to themselves”. But I was there for the last two tours, and it was rough. People were sobbing, everyone was screaming for encores that didn’t come, the tour final was ROUGH, and Koichi basically plugged 8P-SB at the end of Mejibray’s last live on his birthday. Even if they didn’t have to, it was really nice to hear those hurt feelings acknowledged. 
 
I went on on a tangent, sorry, LOL. I will never not miss Mejibray, but I feel like the quality of 8P-SB is improving. I went to their tour more recently and Koichi is definitely a lot more comfortable, both are happy, and Genki utilizes his voice in more interesting ways live than he does on the recorded singles. There’s not as much screaming, but it’s still there and in interesting ways. I think I lost my train of thought, but yeah, it’s really not as bad as people think, it’s getting better, but it is radically different. 

I feel like I'm being called out by this thread. Stanning a band is basically you devoting yourself to them(in my case) supporting the fuck out of them because you love their work and what they do. 
 
I basically have a shit ton of Panic Channel chekis, FULL EFFECT' chekis, and DragonWAPPPPPPER. I have every single アー写 Panic Channel has every put out and every releases sans 3 VHS tapes that are like impossible to get. I have アー写 from FULL EFFECT' that hasn't even hit the light of the internet because they're so indie. I bought 6 copies have each of their last two albums. I bought DragonWAPPPPPPER's limited 20 remix CD for almost $300. I have goods like towels, shirts, and hoodies I don't wear because I don't want to lose any of them. I own all their releases including a few live limited goods that are near impossible to find. 
 
That's what I think of stanning. Like if you are basically stalking the band like demachi or irimachi, then you're on another level that's not stanning.

Most of them are upset that they sound different. Some are upset that the lyrics sound like it's directed at the fans and at the former members, which I think it's totally directed at them after reading the lyrics. Some are butthurt they dropped the visuals.

Shit, I'm giving Ready Player and flight plan a spin and it's definitely some good shit. I'm positively impressed now, the new album just got into my radar

Yeah the name a formula has changed over the years and they still use Schwarzkopf. It has a different name over there in Japan, Fibreplex now?, but they don't import, they use their own Schwarzkopf bleach line since it's super more concentrated on Asian hair,
 but it's bleach me blond in the US. Schwarzkopf brand for bleaching hair. I have really thick hair for an Asian person; so my hair doesn't get damaged like crazy like some people. Someone should send them olaplex if their hair is that damaged. eek.

What I truly love about this band is that they clearly have no ¥ (compared to other bands) but they've kept hustling over the years.  When I saw them at a random taiban in Osaka, they reminded me how fun the genre can be as well as recharged my love for VK in general.

Get on the CieLGRAve hype trains guys. They really are an amazing band.

Schwarzkopf BLONDME is what I know most use. I dye my hair multiple times a year; grey is the easiest to take care of because all you need is purple shampoo, and wash your hair every other day. Also Olaplex, because if you have shit hair after all that bleaching, it helps it strengthen it. Once you bleach your hair, it only take like an hour to take away whatever color it was, and then you can dye it again and re-strengthen it with olaplex and such.
 
Edit: Also some of them use fake bangs and weaves.

Anyways, that song was awesome! I don't know how they pull it off, but they always have this perfect mix of typical oshare bubble-gum pop and totally original/out-there. Also, did Reno say "yami usagi" at 3:15? My Japanese ain't that great so I can't be too sure, but if so... I UNDERSTOOD THAT REFERENCE!

I saw Yoshiki at a grocery store in Los Angeles yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.

He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?”

I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen bags of potato chips in his hands without paying.

The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired from recording the new X-Japan album and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.

When she took one of the bags and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to preserve the spiciness,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a thing. After she scanned each bag of chips and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.
