    Yea, I was about to mention that the tweet was referencing the typhoon/heavy rains -> damaging/deadly floods hindering fans from showing up to the live. There's no shame in using google translate, it helps w/ context. 

     

    As an aside, I swear there was an imgur gif that went viral/top w/ a bunch of people headbanging at one of their outdoor venues. That probably had the most disjointed scenes I'd ever seen, lol. Eh, it actually wasn't as disjointed as I remembered (pretty typical), still pretty funny to watch in broad daylight. Anyway, idk why Gosan has been so anal about participation :/. *That would absolutely be me on the bottom right, looool

    Yea, it's about how they're disbanding in September, and how, while he's only been there for 9 months, he's continuing put his "all" into the band until their last live. ;_;

    Hey, I got here before the "This was expected" and "They were (bad/garbage/sucked)" comments.

    I'm gonna miss them ;_;. I liked UKYO's vocal style and the band's electro-kei vibes.

    I was kinda hesitant going back and discovering older vk bands b/c I'm already partially insane w/ all the obscure releases w/ current bands, but after going ギフト (different band)-> | Chrome Shelled -> DASEIN -> THE MICRO HEAD 4N's via YT suggestions... Ricky is fucking awesome. Reminds me when I first listened to Janne da Arc's Yasu when he was somewhat established as ABC's singer at that point (same experience w/ Hyde and L'arc.) Lots of stuff to dig up.

     

    Hopefully after picking away at early 2000's bands I can listen to some older material. I'm vaguely familiar with some "white-kei" bands which fit my niche of that era, so I can branch out from there.

    It's been 7 years since Season 2... Fall Season is going to be great.

    It seems like they're adapting the rest of the OT novels, which is absolutely bonkers. NT has gotten really bizarre, so I haven't really kept up w/ it that well. The "Battle Royale" arc episodes will probably the most hyped anime episodes of the season. Pleaaassee don't let me down.

    Everything else this season is ecchi and isekai adaptations (aside from the good stuff). I'm familiar with a lot of their source material and it's going to be disappointment all around. Knowing a lot of greenlit series for the following seasons (that aren't even on the charts yet), this isekai wave is not going to end and it will consume all of us. The amount of isekai manga is literally in the THOUSANDS range, not counting the light novels... Brace yourselves...

    Taking a small break from my second BOTW playthrough and started Tokyo Xanadu...
    After getting bombarded with anime tropes & janky cutscenes for the first hour, the gameplay is kinda meh.

    Hopefully it get a bit better. 

     

    Also, tried a bit of Toaru Majutsu no Virtual-On... I need to learn how to actually play Virtual-On games tho, lol. 

    Playing songs on og Project Diva when I have time to kill.

    H-encore is out, and all PS VITAs on any of the current official firmwares can run CFW, albeit having to reactivate on reboots for 3.67 -> up. (I was on 3.68 ofw b/c of some digital titles) I'm in absolute nostalgia mode with Adrenaline, which runs PSP cfw & games. I used to be really invested in PSP hacking/homebrew in its heyday, so I'm thrilled to play old favorites of mine again. Also, RetroArch allows for emulation for SNES, GBA, PS1, etc. so that's pretty neat. Finally able to dust the console off.

     

    ...and you can play vita "backups" too *whistles*...

    Woah, I need to listen to more RAINZ, they remind me of VAV!

     

    If my memory serves me right, NU'EST sharply deviated in concept from their first release, w/ the decline in attention Pledis excessively promoted them in China & Japan (way too long), and when Seventeen debuted they were put on the back burner. All that caused a huge decline in their fanbase even though their debut was extremely successful. Pledis' frankly treated NU'EST (even their Japan label Ariola) like shit, and if I was a fan a couple years prior I would of been furious, to say the least. What's interesting is that their least popular releases hit my niche. NU'EST members have been writing lyrics for a long time, but they had a lot more control compositionally w/ Q and Canvas which are by far my favorite releases behind HELLO.

    You know what day it is... It's (literally) the middle of the year! This is my first time doing this, and since K-pop is being posted; I'll add all the genres I'm keeping up with atm. More stuff will be trickling in until the end of the year since there are a crazy amount of releases. 

    I'll be modifying/adding stuff constantly, but I like the format so far.

    They were supposed to disband at the end of December, but apparently they're gonna extend the contract out to Feb. of 2019 so they can participate in awards shows. Even though I listen to an equal assortment of boy and girl groups, I find myself less attached to Wanna One than I.O.I. IMO I don't think the members mesh as well, and I guess I'm biased toward Minhyun being in NU'EST.

     

    I started following them around OVERCOME's release when there was zero noise ; _ ; (I only discovered them via last.fm looking up related bands to B1A4.) I'm extremely proud of them rn b/c they've finally got the audience they deserve. I lowkey REALLY  want to see androgynous Ren again.
