Pretty sure there's plenty others, the early to mid 90s were the best time for VK, lots of great bands as the scene exploded and reached its peak.

I agree. I think they've done a really good job of depicting mental illness, so much so that it hit much too close to home for me as well and I had to leave the cinema about halfway through the movie. I've been (consciously) struggling with depression for half my life and I'm currently in a phase (in therapy) where things are looking up, I feel more connected, more awake and present and therefor much more vulnerable and sensitive towards depictions of mental illness, addiction and so forth.
 
I wouldn't necessarily say it's a question of age though but rather how sensitive you are and whether you've struggled with similar issues in your past or not.

"More or less a regular" - sounds funny when you say it like that, considering I've been pretty much a daily visitor for just shy of nine years now (and TW before that) xD But I don't post much I guess. Anyway... thanks man and right back at ya ❤️

Sometimes I take walks with my aunt and her dog in this foresty area, and it always brings out this really deep, serene feeling in us both and we just talk about whatever and it's really therapeutic. Nature's a beautiful thing.

Remember @Azaeroe, I warned you. And @suji warned you seven minutes earlier. How does this feel? Do you like this feeling of loneliness and rejection? Do you like being isolated? Being a loner is okay, but it doesn't seem like that life is for you. You want to "ruin your life" and "go to jail", so this anonymous online embarrassment should be nothing. But I suspect that your new shadow banned status will be agony for someone who desperately seeks companionship, even if they do not want to admit it.

This is not how you make friends, process your emotions properly, or snuff out the cinders of your burning rage and disappointment at life, everything and nothing in particular. You have feelings and reasons for those feelings, but if you cannot understand the part you have to play in your current situation then you will never truly be happy. You are the only constant in all of your interactions, and you are the strongest catalyst for change in your own life.

Reflect on this experience and I hope it will cause you to grow and change as a person. And talk to someone, even if it is to just vent your issues. Verbalizing problems grants new perspective and maybe that is what you need to get out of the rut you are in. But this cannot be the place for you to work it out. In the meantime, please don't do something stupid that will ruin or end your life.

Oh, God. I'm not even gonna pretend I didn't watch the first episode of that because I did. I just can't believe it didn't end after the first season.
 
Also... it must have been about three-ish years ago, but I still distinctly remember that, after the woman chose the man she wanted (based on his fucking feet/dick, ofc) she... ran up to him, jumped on his waist and hugged him tight. Like, completely without warning. And this guy didn't get a boner (not even a semi, he was completely flaccid throughout the whole thing) or stumble or owt. Bear in mind, she was quite pretty and she wasn't big or anything, but she looked like she could have at least made him backstep a bit if she was gonna do it that suddenly. Idk, fsr that just made me not believe any of it, tbh. Mayhaps that makes me the shallow one? Lol.

Realising things like that in the way you're describing is just a part of growing up imo. Of course "geeky" stuff like obsessing over music or anime won't be enough to fulfill you. But that doesn't mean that it's "worthless". You'll have to transgress the thought that all this stuff makes up who you are, that's not a helpful perspective. But the fact that these things are a part of your life in the way they are is actually interesting and says a lot about you.
