They didn't have Japanese-titled tour titles for a while though? I mean ,ever since 2003 (列島激震行脚 FINAL 5 UGLY KINGDOM) they have been stuck with botched Engrish titles akin to UNWAVERING FACT OF TOMORROW and that kind of hot mess.

I wish they could ditch cringey Uroboros-ish taglines for good too...

Anyone can confirm whether " Is this really okay with you? Yes. How many have you had? Just one. I’ve killed countless children. Is this really permissible? I’ll ask again. Is this really okay with you? Are you prepared? Yes. Then let us begin." was a legit title for Diru's Osaka-jo hall live back in 1999?

Yes, it's the tour's title. The DVD/VHS is called 1999年12月18日大阪城ホール.

I wonder why it's such a short tour, though... so it's:

    Tour

    mode of DVDs

    Single(?)

    Album

    or something like that, hopefully.

Oh by the way, I made a little video about one of their lives:

  3. Ah, okay. Just asking because the uploader's avatar looks similar to yours. :D

Anyway, shows that there's actually professional footage of that concert, aside of the one we know from Mousou~/VOS docu... wonder how it found its way on to YouTube...

Tousei might be much closer to achieving the finale-ier feeling than BaVI which just ends abruptly like almost any other ARCHE track. C'mon, it's basically Kodou revisited the more you listen to it.

Not sure if @Seelentauis aware of it but there should be some bootleg recordings off early WtD tours ('04) floating around with prototype versions of Jesus Christ.. (funkier rendition),GARBAGE and such. It's such a blasphemy they are still not in the clear.

I am, but I don't care for post-00 DEG that much. Maybe one or two special shows or so, but the rest is boring. Dunno, it's too "serious" or so. There's no "freedom" anymore, everything is regulated, as it should be, every album, every live.

  5. Of course, it's the same footage that they have shown on their Mousou~ VHS.

Only now labelled as Meguro Rockmaykan footage, back then as  Namba Rockets footage.

    WHAT IS THE TRUTH, DEG?

Edit: The truth is, the VHS is wrong. Tada, easy.

Gonna be honest, the frequency at which you made changes in discogs made me turn off my notifications :-P

Yeah I know, I often forget to add/change something, or notice it only after I have submitted the edit ^^'

But the DEG stuff should be mostly complete nowadays, although I have already a new old VHS release in the drafts, but I need to buy it first to see what's on it :x

Whatever info you need just let me know.

As for ripping the documentary, considering you’re looking at the guy that was the source of the Uroboros leak and I was paranoid afterwards for months, it’s not likely. Sorry.

Hoping someone else ups it with subtitles. The band is sitting there watching old clips of themselves and commenting, and I want to know what they’re saying.

Well basically the entire booklet, IFPI numbers, CD matrix etc xD

But I'd be okay with just any new lyrics, too. :) my wiki > discogs

And I have no idea about any Uroboros leak, I haven't been into DEG at that time.^^

The famous Kuroyume cover. Don't know from which date, though. Could be the February pre-DEG concert or a later...

This guy says that one of Kyo's earlier bands covered the song as well, and that he has a tereko of the performance, but won't share it... love the scene, really :3

    Dir en greyの京が在籍していたmasqueradeのデモテープ+LIVE音源です。

    03 静寂
    04 Masquerade
    05 ICE

Allegedly, they're live tracks, but... well, no idea if they exist. Also mentioned here.

    Leaked La:Sadie's lives:

14.08.1996 - Kumagaya Vogue (one song leaked)

    16.08.1996 - Niigata Odo-Hall

20.08.1996 - 市川CLUB GIO ( two songs leaked)

29.08.1996 - Osaka AMhall (completely leaked, often mislabeled as LS' last live)

Also, from DEG's Mousou~ VHS tapes and their VOS documentary, we know that most, if not all of their indies concerts were actually recorded on camera.

I also have to correct an earlier statement regarding Kiri to Mayu and Sangeki no Yoru: The actual story is that one day before DEG began recording MISSA, Kyo was told to change the lyrics for Sangeki no Yoru. The band considered removing the song from the EP for that reason, but decided against it since Kiri to Mayu, as it was now called, was the first song the fans were to hear so it was important.

And something y'all probably didn't know: Karma was actually supposed to be on MISSA as well, but was not included due to the same reasons. Both songs were later included on the Kaede VHS. Which brings me to another fact:

If your Kaede Crystal Video Box has blood on its back, it's Shinya's. He cut himself while packing the boxes (which the band had to do themselves). Although it's unclear how many boxes they packed, after all, there are 10k copies^^
