    That can have two explanations:
    1) The people saying "they're lacking creativity/are repetitive/etc." are not the same people saying "they ruined my favourite song/their new album isn't real DEG/whatever".

    2) They're the same, but don't like the kind of change the band has undergone, like "they became stale, but the new direction they're taking is boring too" or so.

     

    Personally, I still don't understand people complaining about new directions. It's not like anyone is forcing them to listen to the new material, neither does the old material vanish.

    And then there's the nostalgia factor, obviously~

    1. Super cool video with Yuchi and female model promoting the 4th collection (you can check it out at galaxy broad shop).

    2. Maybe this year, but probably next year. They really want to release a song. Like even now. Tomorrow. But is it possible this year? They like the the new song ‘kisses’.(so we know that’s the next single but there’s no confirmed date ;))

    3. The counterattack of torturous hell - pitch black ceremony-「逆襲の嬲り地獄」 -漆黒の儀- : two days at CLUB CITTA Kawasaki will be held on May 14th and 15th.

    Do I have to write two triggered paragraphs now about why y'all opinions are shit and old DEG is best DEG?

     

    When I first got into them, I think it was sometime between UROBOROS and DUM SPIRO SPERO. At that time, I was the typical young core boy, listened to all post-hardcore/metalcore bands you can think of. But I also was interested in manga and anime. So DEG kinda fit both of those interests, Japanese stuff and metal stuff. At that time, I absolutely couldn't listen to anything pre-Wtd., I hated Kisou even. But nowadays, my tasts are more refined and in turn, I can't stand the bland metal fest that is TMOAB, and I rarely listen to UROBOROS and DSS. Now, I listen to old DEG more, but I still love ARCHE the most.

    Yeah, Rinkaku is nice, but it appears too often everywhere. Then again, I guess that's the fate of singles, huh.

     

    By the way, Utafumi wasn't the first song that made a call-back to an earlier song. "Tsumi to Batsu" has a line that is "Ryojoku no ame". :)
