未完成アリス (Mikansei Alice) has announced that 栞 (Shiori) is officially gone from the band as of February 26 after a year of inactivity. Apparently he had contacted them saying he wanted to quit the band, then ceased communication with the band for several months. The band was left with no choice but to dismiss him since their 47 prefecture tour was coming up. Because of these circumstances, they admit that it was a difficult decision to let him go. They will have a support bassist starting on February 28.

Unrelated: D=OUT has postponed their performance at Sendai on 2/26 due to vocalist Kouki's throat condition.

いきなりの発表になってしまいごめんなさい。
僕は来月3月22日のライブをもってMOBを脱退します。
理由としては簡潔に言うと方向性の違い、そして
このバンドで自分自身一番いい状態で
ライブをすることが難しくなってしまったからです。
今まで応援してくれた皆んなや関係者の方々には
申し訳ない気持ちでいっぱいです。

決してメンバーと仲が悪くなった訳では無く
最年少の僕にいつも優しくしてくれ、
わがままを聞いてくれたメンバーには感謝しかありません。

今後の活動に関してですが本心を言えば
またバンドがやりたいですが今のところはまだ何も考えていません。
ただサポートやセッション等はチャンスがあればしていくつもりです。

長くなりましたが今まで本当にありがとうございました。
このバンドをしたからこそ一人では
見れない景色をたくさん見れましたし
初めての遠征も経験出来ました。
そして皆んなに出会うことが出来ました。
MOBのメンバーとして過ごした日々を忘れず
進んでいきたいと思います。

MOBとしては残りわずかですが全力でやりますので
最後まで見ていてください。

The band have also revealed a new look after holding their Rebirth live on February 23. They've also distributed a demo CD at the event.

Gotcharocka will hold their acoustic tour on the dates printed on the flyer ^ They will also "begin a new chapter" on Jui's birthday live on 6/29...

Found Vintersorg and Oystein's comments on Facebook, and they both confirm that Cronian will continue! A new album may even pop up soon, from how Vintersorg's post sounds xD

This being a solo project makes a lot more sense. Dunno why they initially formed as a band when Roub was still around to begin with, because they both had the same members...

Shame...that one song of theirs is really good. I forgot the name, but they had a lot of potential. If only they made their releases more widely available. 💔

Vintersorg has departed from Borknagar due to personal reasons. The band is finalizing their eleventh album and ICS Vortex will take over as the lead vocalist. Fortunately they also hint that Vintersorg may appear in future releases as a guest vocalist. 🙏

I first found Borknagar thru Vortex, who was ICONIC in Dimmu Borgir, but fell in love with the band when I heard Vintersorg. I've since followed his main project, and I hope that this departure means he'll be focused on that more. I'm still looking forward to the new Borknagar album, but I feel it won't be the same without Mr. V. 💔
