Elazmus 1873 Posted August 14, 2019 Hearing him again is a little surreal lol! I like both previews, this is so exciting
Komorebi 2193 Posted August 14, 2019 Not too excited about either song, but it is nice to hear him again. 1 nullmoon reacted to this
nekkichi 6043 Posted August 14, 2019 sounds like they re-recorded some stale major d'espairs ray rejects, but decade dated sound aside, this is better than I expected. it's still v much not good. 2 Furik and CAT5 reacted to this
saishuu 3220 Posted August 14, 2019 eh, this was more or less what I was expecting. nothing really exciting, but I'm still really happy to hear him again regardless
YuyoDrift 1540 Posted August 14, 2019 Hopefully if the reception is positive with NUL., Hizumi might consider doing a small revival of D'espa.
CAT5 9075 Posted August 14, 2019 bleh, Hizumi's my boi, but they're gonna have to come better than this... 1 nullmoon reacted to this
Jigsaw9 6783 Posted August 14, 2019 Well... it's just a demo. That's what I'm gonna keep telling myself, hoping this project will bring something more solid in the future. 1 Furik reacted to this
patientZERO 1066 Posted August 14, 2019 As everyone else has said ... meh. It sounds pretty much like ABS, just with hizumi's vocals. Hopefully the songs past the demo aren't as ... bland.

LIDL 692 Posted August 15, 2019 I am not mad at it, personally speaking. It is still a bop tbh. But is seems obvious that Hazuki might still not over D'espa's last two albums sounds since he was forced to stopped when he still wannabe creative, so it is only natural he did this kind of sounds when he restart his music career. Perhaps, this is what they called one of those retro sounds too. Since even movies had put late 1990s-early 2000s as period films now. That is signs when something is old. Kirito 69 Posted August 15, 2019 (edited) I would prefer a real drummer than an electronic one x) i think it would sound much better. But anyway it's not bad, and Hizumi still rocks Edited August 15, 2019 by Kirito
ShanethVarosa 1209 Posted August 15, 2019 (edited) I like it for it being kinda pop/rock or post-punk or whatever. It certainly isn’t as good as D’espairsRay c. 2005 but I love his voice so I’m happy. Edited August 15, 2019 by ShanethVarosa
Euronymous 325 Posted August 15, 2019 The fact that he's back still more mind blowing than the new music itself. But it's not that bad, since I've been into similar stuff like sukekiyo...Seeing this guy coming back gives me hope to keep on waiting for Otogi/Natsuki/Satoshi,etc,and even Tsuzuku back at metal one day. Who knows. 2 nullmoon and ambivalentideal reacted to this
nekkichi 6043 Posted August 15, 2019 12 hours ago, Tokage said: this screams 'FEATURE US IN YOUR JDRAMA, PLEASE' like fr I can imagine them pulling every other ~reinventing itself~ VK band and trading the vaguely nostalgic debut single sound for absolute generic shit, initial l-style despairs ray were one step away from creatively dying off completely at some point and this project has the potential to achieve that 2 Tokage and ambivalentideal reacted to this
geist 227 Posted August 15, 2019 Hizumi must be desperate for money. This band FUCKING SUCKS

nick 10212 Posted August 18, 2019 Oh wow looks like they have many songs in hands. Having a number of brand new songs already written like this could probably tell that HIZUMI is very serious to start his music career again IMO.
nekkichi 6043 Posted August 18, 2019 so they're practically sitting on a full album and started their public promotion with that? 1 emmny reacted to this
