Kiryu999 3336 Posted July 28, 2017 Lmao those prices, the only purpose of that collab was to milking fans afterall 4 Takadanobabaalien, geist, jaymee and 1 other reacted to this
rekzer 599 Posted July 28, 2017 yeah that setlist is not worth that price
Danao 759 Posted July 28, 2017 tbh, if you're a fan of Diru only, better be buying their DVDs/Blurays only, more songs and setlist might suit you better and if you're a fan of Pierrot only, better be checking if some copies of their Dictators Circus tour final are still for sale somewhere on the web, setlist have more than 20 songs for each day if you're a fan of both just think twice before buying those DVDs/BRs, it's really expensive and might not worth it seeing how short the setlists are
Tokage 5930 Posted July 28, 2017 this may very well be the most egregious case of inequality between price & content in jrock history 4 Takadanobabaalien, sakuran, jaymee and 1 other reacted to this

Nowhere Girl 189 Posted July 29, 2017 23000 yen for a couple of concerts is actually disgusting. I'm a big fan of Dir en grey, but NOPE. I may have gotten a little moist seeing Akuro no Oka on Day 2, though. 1 EzraEroguro reacted to this

wildjokerleia 24 Posted July 31, 2017 Eh. I can think of worse ways you can spend the money on besides this. Besides, gotta make sure Diru gets that sweet, sweet Pierrot coin somehow. Lol. XD 1 jaymee reacted to this
Saishu 1589 Posted July 31, 2017 If anything I would just buy a DVD with Pierrot's show. There's nothing special about DEG's setlist at all

Akuro most likely will be released in the future on mode of MACABRE that should be more wallet friendly
WhirlingBlack 1043 Posted August 10, 2017 Why would it be? When they can earn money selling two dvds why would they include the best selling points of one of them in another set? 1 jaymee reacted to this
Saishu 1589 Posted August 10, 2017 Also, aren't the mode of DVDs a knot only?

Kirito 69 Posted August 11, 2017 yep it's weird Dir en grey didn't make like a special set list for this event. Like adding really old songs

(At least not at the Mode of Macabre show I attended, much to my dismay.) Edited August 11, 2017 by jaymee

That's why I assume at least one will end up on the DVD.

Oh I'm totally aware I just feel like that decision continues to alienate more people that would go to their shows. I would normally argue "artistic integrity" being a valid reason behind decisions like this but tbh I don't find anything the band does now any more authentic musically to what they did before. But eh I don't have to...*shrug* And re: Ain't... they played that one at the show I went to as well, which was a happy surprise. Lots of moved tears from fans.
