    GOATBED's going to be releasing 2 albums at the same time for presale on 12/5 at the live house. 

    So expect a nationwide release early 2021 for both of them

     

    One is Weialala leia Wallala leialala, which I suppose is technically finished generally speaking since the tenth track was upped last week. 

    Considering the newest song, from last week, is VoxDemo kind of worried about whether he'll be on time or not lmao...

    I feel like Shuuji started off with a VERY CLEAR VISION of what he wanted weialala to be and then... ran out of time. The last three tracks are very ??? for where they fit in in the narrative tbh. Like not sure why there's an 11th shunkanteki polyphony being put on it, tbh. 

     

    The other album is Music for Light Users, which seems like it will be the 2020 versions of songs and other rerecordings he's done in the past year or so, but rearranged/remixed etc. so that even if you have the old versions it'll be something new. 

    Sure do hope he puts in the D.O.G.M.A (~ The Model medley) 2020 on it because it is very, very good

    Blue Film 20th anniversary edition was released yesterday at the live which is the original Blue Film and Blue Film 2 each with a new bonus track & is on sale at Ao's shop right now. The kuji is back and I still sure would like that ATM bag lol....

     

    Also the live yesterday was super rough to watch w/ Shuuji's hernia acting up. He was basically KO'd in the middle of the first song.

    Honestly if it wasn't for the new song we'll get + Ao planning to do 副音声 for the e+ stream I wouldn't buy it 

     

    Weirdly excited about 15 bringing back the 予告版 experience though kuusou2.png

    So here's the general consensus:

    • Sex on the beach is a bop
    • Deliheru Boys! Deliheru Girls! is great good job Ao
    • Oto Sex 2020 is a disappointment
    • 原色エレガント is funky fresh
    • さかしま single worst cali gari song ever and I hope to never hear it again
    • Did they change Blue Film at all??

    I feel you, colourlessbalance is definitely one of my fav albums of theirs.

     

    Ah I'm surprised it didn't work. That's a shame, especially since there will be some differences between the DL version and the store version, according to Shuuji's blogs. But at the very least when he does finish making it, it'll be a general release so it won't be so hard to get a hold of. 

     

    It's got a kind of different vibe from what they've been doing lately, & I really dig it personally.

    dai3's rip w/ shuuji 2 on two tracks & like 2 tracks being from kaiteiban, with only 1 track actually being dai 3.. was the #1 reason I started buying up cali cds to replace all my tracks a friend had sent years ago.

     

    Dai3 is actually noticeably different from kaitei too, since even I can tell lmao...

     

    Iirc there was a 37564 that had shuuji 2 when it was labeled as shuuji 1 going around at one point. I trashed all the old rips so I can't confirm though.

    • Weialala leia Wallala leialala DL version is up for 3 days starting yesterday @ 9pm, so I suppose you have about 2 days left. Idk. It's 2,000yen.

    At the Weialala leia Wallala leialala lives a card with a QR code was on sale which provided access to DLs for the songs on the upcoming album, Weialala leia Wallala leialala, with one or two songs released per week. Actually, it also has at least one "DL exclusive" version that will be different from what will be on the CD.

     

    Anyway, the Weialala leia Wallala leialala DL being sold on the online shop provides the link to the same URL that the QR code takes you too.

     

    Shuuji only announced the Weialala leia Wallala leialala DL would be up for sale in the blog, which is FC only.
    So, I dont think it's common knowledge, even though it's being sold on the public store (vs the FC store). 

    His main reasoning was 1) many people couldnt go and thus also couldnt buy the cards and so this is to give those who did want to buy it a chance 2) it's boring to read the updates on his blog about the songs 

     

    Honestly, I feel like Shuuji truly goes out of his way to provide content to fans as much as possible, especially during the COVID era.

    I realize i didnt even have a file claiming to be from the outo/oyasuminasai now lmao i just had them labeled separately but those two are probably from dai2 and mislabeled. 

     

    incidentally my copy of outo/oyasuminasai arrived TODAY

    Ao covered both  LAB.THE BASEMENT and cali gari in the stream the other day. It was very good 👌

     

     

    My copy of 死刑台のエレベーター has been delivered. There's a long interview in the booklet that I couldnt be bothered to read lol 

    It came with a little present of a memo pad, which Ao expains on twitter he made because there was left over paper from the booklet printing and he didnt want to waste the paper 

     

     

     

    Anyway last update: there will be additional sales of 死刑台のエレベーター (last chance!)

    The pipe burst actually had ruined some copies and Ao hadnt realized until it was time to ship that the paper sleeves had started to get mold on them. 

    Thus, some peoples' copies still haven't been shipped yet. 
    So, it is being reprinted (exactly the same as the original) and will be put up on Ao's shop again. Apparently he's planning to ship them in October.

    and there are people who he couldn't ship to as well and will have to wait another month because of the EXTREME PIPE BURST INCIDENT and they have to repress it

    I ordered right away as well

    Ao's shop has a "it generally takes 10 days to 2 weeks to ship" disclaimer.

    Last time, it was 2 weeks right on the dot.

    However, this time it's been nearly 4 weeks, and he has still not sent out the email for it being shipped. 

    Others on twitter are also wondering about it.

     

    Unfortunately, Ao has broken his entire body because Old Man so I think it may be delayed further.

    OK so we recently came across a version of Galaxy called ギャラクシー(SP Ver.)  but cannot figure out where it's from

     

    Our best guess was that it's from something related to 2 and since it sounds like it was recorded through a hat we guessed maybe the studio session from 2 limited edition but Plant's informed me that it's not after listening to Seimeisen's rip.

    So now we're back to square one with trying to figure it out

     

    anyone have any ideas???
