My NOA CDs came, so I can finally enjoy reading ace Engrish lyrics like this:

I like what I've heard from To overflow evidence - there's one song of theirs that I really love, but I'm not feeling the vocals from nim.

Saving Mr. Banks. It was alright, but I can't say I really liked it. 

I guess kurofuku and "soft"...I typically go for the bands that don't wear much makeup, and I prefer a lighter rock sound (as opposed to metal), like L'Arc, GLAY, etc.

 

Plus "other" for whatever Psycho le Cemu are called.

Wow, how did I not realize that the Eyeshield 21 opening was by Coming Century? Miyake's voice is such a dead giveaway now that I'm rewatching the series.

Pay money To my Pain's "In the blink of an eye" always makes me cry. The lyrics are so blunt, and the way K sings them is just so gentle and sweet that it makes me tear up.

Why should anyone need to feel bad about growing out of a music genre? That's like feeling bad about not watching Barney anymore. Different things are bound to appeal to you at different points in your life.

HUNTERXHUNTER IS A SNOOZE FEST.

I'm not really crazy about either anime adaptation, but the manga is glorious. Every arc is just so different, and it goes off on so many random tangents that you completely forget that it's supposed to be about a kid finding his dad.

Ordered 3 NOA CDs (Picture Book + their two new mini-albums) from CDJapan yesterday. Hoping they actually still have Picture Book in stock and they're not just going to keep me waiting for two weeks before saying they don't have it like they did with the last older CD I ordered.

Just albums, DVDs and shirts for me.

I've noticed that two of the members of Suck a Stew Dry have been randomly translating some of their own tweets into English recently. Nothing related to music of course, just gems like this:

 

 

 

I translated a bunch of their stuff into English and romaji in the past few months, including some of Fuse's tweets about his other band, and I wonder if they saw it. Especially since Shinoyama always talks about how much he loves ego searching and there's not much about the individual members online in English...

Does Yuu always look this awkward? Most of the comment is about him and it's like he can't stand to look directly at the camera.
