    Ok, let's be fair: METEMPSYCHOSIS is a banger, but not as good as I was anticipating. If you take out from the equation those 3-4 tracks that stand out the most, the rest of the album sounds pretty much the same throughout its entirety. I don't mean to say it is a boring album, but it does get repetitive if you don't focus on its nuances - I found myself playing it in the background without paying attention and it was just... there?
    Also I didn't really like most of the re-recordings: I despise it when the structure of the song is heavily changed. I would've really preferred a higher quality recording, not a complete rehash.

      I agree that a majority of the retakes don't quite stand up to the originals, but it's not like we can't just listen to the original any time instead. I do wish they hadn't changed up the composition so much on the older tracks though, a cleaner take of The Dead Sea and Mistake would have been awesome. I'm interested to see how Hunger turns out on the White edition.

    Torn about which edition of DEXCORE's album to pre-order. As a fan and collector I want the Extra Edition, but I'm struggling to justify paying double for a tote bag, Eng/Jap lyric book and early access to a PV that will be available later...

      I think a lot of people still do their own make-up and/or hair, but I don't know anyone who chooses their whole costume.

      Their old stuff is excellent, their new stuff is excellent, and everything in-between is hit-or-miss. Hasn't been shared anywhere yet as far as I know but their latest live-dist is great (appare chindouchuu).

      The only idea I have is closing iTunes, deleting iTunes Library.itl and iTunes Music Library.xml and restarting iTunes. There should be nothing here anymore so force it to rebuild the library by going Add to Library and pointing it to the iTunes Media folder. To be safe you can always backup the itl/xml files first.

      Probably unrelated but did you check the Options tab to see if for some reason they're configured to end earlier than the actual length of the track?

    Not big on FED's 2nd album other than the tracks from the singles, but the new tracks are pretty lackluster.

      Dystopia is great, ON THE EDGE is decent and sounds like it would be fun live, but the rest of the new tracks were quite forgettable unfortunately.

      I've been using HP for the last 8 years or so and I'm pretty satisfied. At the moment I'm using their high-end OMEN gaming notebook which I picked up last year in the January sale discount.

      Kusuri is definitely my favourite single. Ii is an awesomely spooky heavy track, Warui is one of their best ballads, and both the B-sides are great too (especially Nikki, gives me old-school Gazette Shunsetsu no Koro vibes with that chord structure).

      Love it! At first it didn't exactly blow me away, but I've had it on repeat since release and all the tracks have their own merits. Definitely, as the title suggests, a bunch of songs that would be awesome to experience live.

    I don't understand why the bass level is so low in Leda's projects. I just assume that someone who was such a heavyweight sick bassist would want some sick bass action on their recordings. For DELUHI, I can kind of understand, as Aggy seemed to be a pretty barebones, unnoticeable bass player, but ryu from FED seems to be pretty great. *seems* because I can hardly ever hear him, but it looks like hes doing some tough shit in the live dvd

     

    Oh well, the new FED single slams, so I finally care :-P

      I thought this too. Perhaps because the 8-string(!) is so downtuned that that range becomes a little muddy from both guitar and bass occupying the same space?
