Masayuki Hasuo (ex.school food punishment) and Yoshimasa Terui ( ハイスイノナサ) made a band together and it's freaking awesome! Think of old sfp on steroids. Band & EP name is 'siraph' for those that are interested!

trombe, calm your ass down. It's super easy to overlook topics with the wealth of news posted here everyday. You can't in all seriousness expect every person to view EVERY single news thread, especially when it's a brand new act THAT NO ONE HAS EVER FUCKING HEARD OF. Perhaps putting the related bands in the thread title would have drawn more attention to it? And lastly, even if there are no likes or no comments, that doesn't necessarily mean no one cares. Stop whining and figure out ways to more efficiently deliver news.

Yikes. They've never really been my cup of tea but still, they've been around forever. Even though every band's disbanding is inevitable, it's always a little surprising whenver a mainstay call it quits.

That feeling when you finally remember that it's your mom's birthday... a week too late.

Welcome to MH! Don't worry about not being too knowledgeable of the VK scene; I'm not particularly familiar with it either (at least in comparison to a lot of the other members) but there's a lot of people with pretty diverse tastes here so I'm sure you wont feel out of place. Hope to see you around!

I've had this damn track from the LOTR soundtrack stuck in my head for the last two days now. I'll just be riding the bus and then suddenly that part at 0:58 enters my mind and I feel like I'm having some sort of emotional life-changing moment.

I'm stuck wanting to be 10 different kinds of people and I hate myself because I'm none of them.

Stuck in November - First Slice Of Cake First Slice Of Cake is the debut release of Indian match-rock trio Stuck in November. The production values are, not surprisingly, pretty lacking but the composition is absolutely on point. Admittedly there are a lot of promising young math bands cropping up these days so standing out from the crowd can be pretty difficult, but as far as debut releases go I'd say this is the most impressive one I've heard since 宇宙コンビニ. Hopefully they can keep up the good work and get some better production values going forward. Bandcamp

I love this gif more than my own life.

Picked up Pillars of Eternity since I was looking for a new RPG to play. Seems pretty decent so far, definitely a nice homage to the old Infinity Engine games.

What doesn't kill you can still make you a hell of a lot weaker.

I wish I could inject downy's music directly into my veins.

Why has it taken me 24+ years to realize that the letter Y is both a consonant and a vowel?

Working for me. All my playlists, friends, etc, are all working. EDIT: You have to subscribe to create additional playlists...

八十八ヶ所巡礼 - 悟ri+time Definitely one of the stronger tracks on SYG88, which itself is one of 88kasyo's strongest albums. I find its predecessor (ano世love) to be slightly underwhelming overall, but 悟ri+time quickly steps things up with some trademark 88kasyo craziness. Interestingly, though, this is a track that I almost never go out of my way to listen to; I only ever tend to listen to it within the context of the album or when I'm just shuffling. I'm not entirely sure why that is, exactly. Anyway, the track itself leans much more towards 88kasyo's "in your face batshit crazy" side than their "psychedelic yet oddly subdued" side, and I think that's something the album really needed after a rather tame opening. Solid stuff. 4/5 NEXT SONG: toe - Two Moons

I'd fuck the shit out of Yumi Uchimura's (ex-school food punishment, la la larks) voice, if that counts?

Pho presents: How every Final Fantasy-related conversation on the internet inevitably goes. Person 1: I thought Final Fantasy X was a pretty good game. Person 2: OMG, Final Fantasy X was garbage! The laughing scene is the most awkward thing in the entire history of gaming LOL! Person 3: But the laughing scene is SUPPOSED to be awkward! How can so many people STILL miss the ENTIRE POINT of that scene!? Person 2: Just because it's supposed to be awkward doesn't mean that it's okay for it to be awkward. LOL, everybody knows that Final Fantasy VII is the best game ever made and that X was the beginning of Square's downfall. Person 4: Hahahaha, you think VII is the best? What a scrub! TRUE fans know that VI is the best game ever made. KEFKA LITERALLY DESTROYS THE ENTIRE WORLD, HOW COOL IS THAT!? Where's my fucking Final Fantasy VI remake Square!?!?!?!? Person 5: Hey guys! I like Final Fantasy XIII! Person 1: ... Person 2: ... Person 3: ... Person 4: ...

Strangely it's only just dawned on me after reading this thread just how feminine Margaret is. I've always just seen him as 'eccentric' rather than overtly 'feminine', but now that you mention it...

I really should be doing something productive with my life, but here I am watching a muppet play video games on Twitch.

I found subliminal pretty decent, but couldn't find too much else in the EP to enjoy. I still feel like he's mostly just churning out songs to fill a release quota rather than really putting his creative energy into it, even if there are some very brief flashes of quality here and there. I really have to third the "sliding in a few cool parts but leaving entireties stale af" thing. It reminds me a lot of what happened to the GazettE's writing abilities around 2010 or so. Oh well, I guess it's better than es or s, at least.

My project name would be 117, simply because it has no real meaning yet I've always used it whenever I've had to add numbers to usernames and whatnot.
