I appreciate both your proposal and your genuine concern for the community, lil' sis. But unfortunately, I don't see the need for something like this - and here's why:
 
This is already an open forum, so people are free to discuss and debate whatever topics they'd like to as long as they abide by the forum rules. 'Civility' is already a prerequisite to posting here, and we've got tons of forums/sub-forums suitable for a variety of topics. It's already the job of staff to quell unnecessary drama . We're not always as efficient as we'd like to be, but fuck, we're human. sue us Too many people would just use this as an opportunity to indulge in pointless one-upsmanship instead of seeking genuine understanding. And lastly, this forum just isn't mature enough to debate important topics without taking things personally. Hell, half of the community would already be triggered before the debate even got started. 🤷‍♂️

I feel like most visual kei is like that these days. I hate the overabundance of synths in vkei. It generally turns me off immediately from a band. Especially overly glossy music videos and overproduced songs. 

Love the vocals (especially the chorus) and the solo, but that annoying "guitar noodling on the high strings just to fill space" trend needs to die already.

they're def the best dimlim copyband in a scene that would be doing better off entirely without dimlim copybands in the first place.

I'm going to have to go with Toshiya. Toshiya's rhythm is Dir en grey's heart and soul and a lot of the reason why the band sounds so good. I've never felt that kind of connection or groove from any of Kisaki's bands, but Kisaki can play a mean bass. It's really dependent on whose playing style you like more.

Yeah I don't like the effects on World End. Shame they had to sort of ruin the song because they wanted to experiment so much. 

One thing I'll promise myself if I ever become single again is to never touch that stupid Tinder app ever again. Fuck that. Complete waste of my time. 😅

Pretty much. To be honest, the thing that attracted me to the whole FWB thing is that you're a friend first and foremost. I like the idea of caring for someone and being a pseudo-partner without the need for family politics/pressure to marry, have kids etc. In all fairness I naturally just fell into relationship mode because I do genuinely like her. I'm just scared of not providing what she needs further down the line and wasting months/years of her life.

Eh, I think a lot of people's definition of "shitty person" seems to be "well, I read something nasty about them someone else said so it's definitely true". Personally, I very rarely believe anything I don't see with my own eyes.
 
Anyways, more on-topic, I second this:
He was great in Malice Mizer, but he's since just gone really cringy. I mean... the guy admitted that he bought a frickin' mountain just so he could snowboard on it. Yeah, that's not shitty, but it's damn frivolous and just begs the question of why. That said, I think he does that in general.

I'd say Yoshiki but I'm unsure if he knows how to make good music anymore, hasn't made anything worthwhile since the 90s. 

I mean the thread title doesn't say that "in their hearts" or "in their mom's opinion" doesn't count.
