And no news about Kisaki breaking his foot! How rude!

A sprain, how relevant.

Why even put out great titles like this on iOS and ruin the experience completely by degrading it to terrible graphics and audio? Buying a PS3 or 360 if you haven't already got one really isn't that expensive anymore, and for a good deal you can get the entire Bioshock series in one multi-pack (cheaper than the alleged price of 10$ - 30$) now that provides you with amazing graphics and gameplay. Hell, if you've got a normally running PC then you can grab these titles on Steam for a laughable price.

It's not often that I absolutely do not know, or haven't even heard of, any of the bands on someone's list at all. But that's the case with this one. DIO - Distraught Overlord - M 12012 - see-saw Fatima - 消せない雨 DIR EN GREY - NEW AGE CULTURE MEJIBRAY - Divergence ∀NTI FEMINISM - 蛍光灯 NéiL - JESTER MALICE MIZER - Au Revoir ~bossa~ BUCK-TICK - Brilliant D'LORE - Forbidden Ideal Well, that wasn't hard for me. I still recommend this song to anyone who's just getting into VK (or just to anyone who hasn't heard of them yet). For me, they're just a band that needs to be recognized, no matter how indies they were. I'll forever wonder where Yuu went...

I personally think that Sui shouldn't do harsh vocals at all. It's kind of a thing on this single that let me down.

GACKT - Fragrance — I don't think anything suffices for me as being more beautiful than this. The lyrics, the emotion, there's just everything in this song I can relate to. Gackt does an amazing job at capturing every possibility in this of how a person can experience it. It just never ceases to impress me like madness. KAMIJO - 闇夜のライオン — I've been listening to this ceaselessly since the moment it came out. Kamijo's voice has never reached me deeper than this. He sounds so clear, so otherworldly, the ambience it provides a room with is just stunning and it feels as if I'm being pulled elsewhere from my existing being. I just can't help falling more and more in love with this man every day and it's evident in so much of my behaviour. I feel as if currently, he is really saving me. D'LORE - Forbidden Ideal — This is just... There are no words for this track. I wouldn't exist without it, and realizing they were/are such a small band without any recognition at all still gives me incredible chills. Even the smallest voices, so to say, can reach out far and touch someone deeply. KISAKI - 勿忘草 — I am a Kisaki fangirl and I am not afraid to hide it. I'm not afraid to be completely overwhelmed by the man and his abilities and ego and crush under its pressure, nor am I afraid to share it with anyone. This song is just a trance-inducing masterwork, and I don't think I've ever been able to listen to it without at least tearing up. It's incredibly underrated regarding the emotional damage it carries along with itself (with Jui on vocals, respectively).

Still looking, not going beyond the original price of 1,050¥

As a person who doesn't understand their hype either, I don't think that the Gazette have really added a new atmosphere in the world of Visual Kei. General rock sounds have existed long before they appeared, and their visual appearance in itself wasn't a revelation either. To me their sound or image aren't influential at all, I think they just happened to be lucky and had good promotion because there were a lot of very similar bands at that time that could've potentially ended up the same way as they, without doing much in a different way.

I simply don't understand how there are individuals pledged to live in this world with the mindset that it is okay to mislead others, or betray them. Yet those two-faced types always seem the ones who are surrounded by a great amount of friends, so they have both things going for them. I've found that often those who are in need of a real friend are the ones missing out on them, and it seems unreal to me. If anyone in this thread is in need of someone to talk to, or just vent, my inbox is always open to them.

I am really damn pleased with this band, it isn't often that I find something new (well, a new formation, the band-members are all familiars) that I can enjoy for once. Aki should mind his inhales though on the death vocals, if he wants to keep his vocal chords in good shape he should really change techniques.

It's just so discouraging. I've been diagnosed with GAD and Asperger's Syndrome, and I am generally being labelled as a communicative wreck. I simply wouldn't know how to engage in meaningless small-talk with people I'll only see once in my life but it's an absolute must. Society's standards nowadays are just... frightening. It's hardly a requirement to actually know something about your profession, all it takes for you to be hired somewhere is to have a mouth that cannot stand still.

This isn't a genre I'd usually listen to, but it's actually listenable for me to a certain extent. CLEANS || 7/10 — I enjoy his somewhat sleazy, whining vocals. It doesn't seem like he's trying too hard like I find most Japanese vocalists to do when they're approaching this style. HARSH || 6/10 — his tone is a little off when he's singing higher, I feel like his voice becomes higher when he's singing in a 'harsh' way.

I find MEJIBRAY's early releases to be stunningly performed. With entries such as KILLING ME, Slivers.exe and カルマ-瓦礫のマンティコーラース-, I was surprisingly pleased as I cannot quite ever get into a more deathcore-type of approach when it comes to Visual Kei artists; there's usually little substantial quality when visual Japanese groups find it in their tendencies to sound more Western. I'm rather disappointed by their later releases, however. RAVEN in itself, I find terrible, and I cannot quite understand how the song is so very hyped among listeners whereas I have no clue how the band has even managed to put it together. A band I personally do not understand the hype for is Royz. They sound just like any other bland group of young boys forming a band just because they happen to have an image.

I am so tired of every job's requirement being that you are a communicative mastermind. I cannot even stammer more than three words to my own family. It's been four years and I'm still at home doing nothing.

The only track I've ever heard from that list is HYPER LOVE by BUCK-TICK. The rest I am unfamiliar with (musically-wise). Moi Dix Mois - Forbidden DIR EN GREY - The Domestic Fucker Family NightingeiL - Outsider BUCK-TICK - スピード Vallquar-ワルキューレ- - fall in past D - ゲーム劇中曲 Vasalla - INSANE ~ VICTIM OF D GACKT - Lu:na DAS:VASSER - VASSER... Aliene Maφriage - Virgin Mary The moment Forbidden popped up at the beginning of this I knew it was going to probably end up as being my favourite. And it has!

I used to. Currently, I actually have no friends at all, so there is no one to find important or to cherish. I've been used a lot, lied against and cheated on, so there's no reason for me at this point to value anyone.

Moshpits are fun depending on the audience. Those at J-concerts are not enjoyable. Sixteen year old, hormonal girls do not understand the concept of a moshpit when their eyes are fastened on their favourite bandman. It is not meant to be severely violent, yet during J-concerts there are always the girls deliberately pulling hair, throwing out elbows, kicking shins, etc. I've been attending extreme metal concerts since about 2007, and those are the most enjoyable. Everything is in good fun, regardless of how rough it looks. You'll never be trampled because the moment you fall, it only takes about a few seconds until there are at least five pairs of hands reaching for you. I think the heaviest one I've been in was this year during a live from Carcass — although I think I could somewhat compare it to the Pestilence gig I attended a few years ago. One time I've got my arm pierced by someone wearing an enormous spike gauntlet (not those silly ones you buy at H&M, but the actual black metal version). That's the only time I've bled so far.

I really don't get why these songwriters won't take an extra hour to find someone who is willing to properly translate their lyrics from 'Engrish' to proper English. Japan is home to not just the Japanese anymore, a ton of foreigners have taken residence in the country (most of them as translators, even) and would be more than willing to save a band from turning into a major joke. Also, my two cents added to the topic: Schwarzschild and Die Letzte Nacht by D. The lyrics aren't necessarily terrible, but whenever you listen to them there's no way to make out what Asagi's singing.

Ganbarose! God, I love these guys so much. Watching Satoshi's Vines cracks me up every single time again, he seems so much fun to be around. I can't wait.

Anything from 12012 works for me, I love Heart. Metis Gretel - Funeral This list is quite diverse, but very likeable nonetheless (or perhaps that is why). I guess my choice goes to the Phaidia track. By the way, if anyone has a rip of anything else by them apart from In The Dark or Sanatorium, please let me know. I've been searching for their music all over but I can't find anything more than those two.

There is no real way of comparing those two bands. However, in the end, I'll choose Phantasmagoria over anything. No other band has touched me this deep, this hard, and this genuinely. A lot of their tracks are full-blown emotional rollercoasters (Kisaki's trademark), and somehow they always just manage to hit the right spot. Regardless of likely being Kisaki-biased, I still consider them in my VK's top 3 consisting of Lareine, D, and Phantasmagoria. My heart still aches for them. I suppose it ever will.
-
No thank you, I have all of them except this one.
-
It'd be really cool to own those Lareine sets (especially the Legend of Fantasy boxset), but prices, sob.

I didn't get an answer, so up again. Has anyone seen a copy pop up anywhere or is willing to sell theirs?

I am uncertain, personally I'd rather hear new material instead of him going to re-record and re-release a bunch of old stuff that shouldn't necessarily be touched again. So I hope for the latter of your queries.
