Aaaand that's what I mean.

That's how I think about it too. Especially Westerners seem to be particularly fond of hunting him down and exposing every little thing about him. Being a fan of him pretty much heaves whatever load he gets dumped upon his shoulders, upon mine too, as I often take it seriously and really aren't frequently amused by whatever issues people seem to have with him. But I guess that's just something that needs to be swallowed by the few of us

I wish I had an idea of how to add cool attributes to my desktop.

If Visual Kei artists are getting greedier than they already are, then why not upload full videos on YouTube? It doesn't cost them any extra effort, and (if we look at things statistically, and not based on popularity) perhaps might even serve them a little extra as YouTube pays per a considerable amount of viewers when you become their partner (as in dumping ads on your channel). Their marketing strategies are just so strange; releasing at least three different types of a record, live-distributed releases, releases limited to distinguished webshops or stores, the 'buy merchandise for at least ¥5.000 and you get an extra' strategy. Why not simply sell all these limited releases separately? Or opening the borders and set up sales to overseas customers who are often more than willing to pay whatever the price? There just needs to be one band who opens up their eyes to the world and to actually working marketing strategies, and I bet the scene could lift itself up in a matter of perhaps two years.

I personally don't think anything Kisaki does has ever made sense even to himself, and I quite frankly do not bother much until people start digging into his history and try to unravel what presumably is correct and incorrect. Even if anything he did before 1994 was fake history, I doubt it would've mattered if anyone had found out or not regarding the unpopularity of these releases and bands and their insignificance to Visual Kei legacy. From what I've gathered he's a troubled man with some sort of complex for a need of recognition and attention who missed out on adulthood. Things about him are off and shady but who knows what's the original cause for his constant lies and beating around the bush, and even his mysterious causes of illnesses. More CEO's of Visual Kei labels are involved in weird crap and I bet if anyone started digging in into Yoshiki or Dynamite Tommy you'd find similar strange discoveries. Regardless, he's my favourite Japanese artist and I respect him and what he's done for the scene and how he still manages to keep himself standing whilst getting his own shit shoved down back his throat all the time, I wouldn't be able to keep my own legs from giving out.

Yuhma really is that type of vocalist that just can't be missed from the scene, this is great news.

Femme Fatale's recent 'Freya'. Something has gone terribly wrong on that single.

My dog, a six year old Boxer, sleeps with her eyes open. Sometimes it's rather disturbing to watch as her eyes actually roll back within their sockets to where the sclera becomes visible, which is uncommon for dogs. Her 'excitement-dance' is also quite erratic as she twists her body into impossible angles and then hops across the floor like an imbecile. Generally, the dog is idiotic anyway.

I've never really gotten into Gara but it's a nice image — 7/10.

None of those I am familiar with (except Good Charlotte, but I don't know if they're even still together at all). KAMIJO - Dying-Table I think this is a pretty awesome list. If you manage to grab the correct rips of Eze:quL, then they're definitely recommended. Also, SEIKIMA-II is underrated.

You know there's always the possibility the other bands sold their music to him.

Two nights ago, my only friend gave me a suicide-scare. I'm honestly at a loss for everything at the moment. I don't know how to comfort her, I don't know what to say to her or how to react to the normal things she says right now because she behaves as if nothing ever happened. I've been trying to talk to people about it. Find some sort of comfort. But no one is offering me any. I've been in a sour mood ever since I read that message, and I feel as if the life has been completely sucked out of me, and as if I do not know what controls my stream of thoughts anymore. The people I've been trying to talk to either ignore me completely or just say something along the lines of — 'that's too bad' — while practically holding up their nose against it. They say it's my problem and that I should just deal with it without yapping it to everyone. Does anyone even understand emotions or feelings? Do these people have any? Why are human beings so sick in the head to think that they can blatantly ignore someone in pain? It's disgusting.

I've been thinking about deleting Facebook for a good while now, but I'd miss out on a lot because people don't share information directly anymore as everything has to be shared via social media nowadays, which is the problem caused by the internet. There's zero privacy on your account. Whatever you share or write in closed groups, your friends can see on their newsfeeds, and they can share it again, and then their friends can see it, and their friends, and the cycle goes on. Almost every other website you use has to be linked to Facebook (thus using your account-information) otherwise you can't make use of it. It's just a sickening website.

Yeah, I know. I tried ordering it from ClosetChild last week actually but someone took it from the store before they could process my order.

If I hadn't known of Visual Kei, I'd be listening to other forms of metal. Mostly thrash-and death metal as they're genre's I am still into. I enjoy bands such as Death Angel, Obituary, Behemoth, Morbid Angel, Death, Testament, Possession, etc. Visual Kei was never a shock to me either because I've grown into metal from bands such as Poison, Cinderella, Pretty Boy Floyd, and all sorts of other glam metal groups. The image was something I was familiar with before. How much does Japanese music add to your life? I think it has steered me in certain ways. I wouldn't necessarily say it's been a lifesaver, or say I couldn't live without it anymore, but it did open up a world for me I wasn't aware of before, and I think that it's always nice to explore new worlds that do allow you to see certain means through a different point of view. Would there be any benefits to not having it, like a heavier wallet or bigger bank account? Or is it just plain worth it? I've spent a few thousands on Visual Kei already, so it would most definitely help in keeping my wallet and bank-account in check if I hadn't discovered it. I didn't buy much music other than the occasional piece of vinyl before. Do you have irreplaceable friends you found through Japanese music? Had you asked me this two years ago, I would've said yes. As of currently, I don't think I've got any real friends left whom I met through the Visual Kei scene. I've been lied to a lot, I've been stolen from, I've simply been left falling behind in a lot of things as I constantly feel that my former friends have found a better purpose with other people. Personally, I think that among every musical scene, the fans from Japanense bands (mainly Visual Kei) are the most scheming and dramatic. It's like the genre in itself attracts troubled and uncivilized individuals, and from personal experience there's hardly ever been a time where I could upkeep a normal conversation with someone whom I met through this type of music without them completely losing their cool. In fact, I had quite the lot of friends from before I grew into Visual Kei. I went to music festivals and events a lot, but after I started to stray away from thrash-and death metal, it's like my friends strayed from me, too. Has it opened up your life more? Gave you an interest in Japanese culture? How would your interests change if you didn't have this music? It did give me an interest in Japanese culture, as I wasn't interested in Japan or other Asian countries per sé before I grew into Visual Kei. I only watched little anime and didn't have much of an idea of the country at all other than what one generally sees in the news. I'd say it is beneficial to observe and experience any form of art in a different language, because generally new interests spring from this. Other than this, I don't think my interests would've changed much from how they were before I was introduced to Japanese music; I'd still just play videogames, watch movies and television series, and wouldn't care about much else other than that and music.
