^ I don't really mean on the terms of composings and all. Even had things been recorded with Mizuki earlier, there of course have been re-recordings of Fell Asleep and Re-frain after Mizuki left. They're less of an unison. Even though Mizuki might not have been a solid structure in the band as he didn't write any of the majority of the songs (and as a rhythm guitarist/dualling sometimes with Kanata), I feel like they just lost it after they lost him. There's been a break in their structure and that difficult to come over musically, and bonding-wise. From what I've heard from UCP insiders Kisaki and Riku haven't been on friendly terms at all as of lately and Kanata plans on stopping anyway. Reiya's always been some sort of a wallflower letting things come towards him instead of stepping in to a direction of his own. It's just like the whole band's currently being steered by everything Kisaki does and plans for them and the rest doesn't have much to say. It's at least certain there won't be coming back any Lin.

^ Sounds like your typical fun guy to be around anyway. Maybe he's just nervous around his fans or something, I don't know. I've always (from what I've seen) found Kon to be quite sweet and caring about his projects and things surrounding this, fans included. Doesn't seem like a bad guy at all.

Can't wait for mine. It's going to take another month before getting here though, I bet...

As much as a fan I am, this release might as well not have been released at all. It doesn't do anything for me. Riku sounds super flat and he seriously just lost heart in his voice. The band's gone downhill after Mizuki mysteriously disappeared although Psalms I could still somehow toleratefor whatever reason I don't know of. This has just been a final milking-product from Kisaki together with all the extra's you get by purchasing it through the webshop to fill up his pockets for whatever he's going to do next.

Personally, I simply like the 'raw' sound of edgy demo-tapes, diabolical screeches throughout all of your record and any sort of overdrive on basses. Therefore I guess I'm still stuck in your casual Matina days and everything surrounding the era and before it. Doesn't mean I don't like 'new' bands, though, but mostly those consist of being built up by members of older bands (i.e. CELL, La'veil MizeriA and that sort of stuff) It's not just the music that does it for me though. The entire idea of struggling so harshly to achieve something that's your dream has always been something I found myself drifting off towards to. Coming out of my earlier music taste being 80's based glam/sleaze rock being bands such as Poison, Faster Pussycat and that entire drag of sky high hairdo's I suppose it's kind of difficult to push myself out of that zone of 'old music'. The original sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll just grew on me. It wasn't difficult for me to migrate my love for hard rock into where I am now in the VK scene, loving old bands such as X JAPAN, Seikima-II, Loudness and everything that comes with it. It just has more vibe to me, it's been more alive. New VK sounds like a chore to me where bands only strive to become popular because they can, instead of actually being required to. Those boys aren't cast-outs, they aren't coming from rough families, they've just picked up an instrument and sat in their rooms for hours learning music from tablets online instead of learning by ear and finding just that right chord on your guitar. Well that's my give to it.
  6. I'm pretty disappointed in everything Mejibray did after their first three releases. Especially with the re-recordings the mixing sounds just so off and it seems like the instruments are just thrown in randomly since nothing actually lines up with each other. I think their image is the biggest thing that does it now with Tsuzuku's stage antics and whatsoever but overall they sound very, very weak to me now.

Sleep My Dear and Megaromania, sort of a strange combination but it works for me.
  8. L'Arc~en~Ciel PENICILLIN VAMPS Merry MUCC cali≠gari B'z Kaggra, Kagerou There's probably a lot more of them somewhere, but these are the ones I can name out of the top of my head that could be classified as 'you have had to have listened to them at least once in your life'.

I personally don't like anything about Satsuki but his voice. Even looking at the guy I can't stand.

evilcoconut - Man, I haven't listened to Eluveitie in ages after their line-up completely changed around. After Rafi left I was just basically done because he totally did it for me in that band, but perhaps I should pick it up again because I totally loved Vên and Slania back in those days when they just started off. 1: 偽りのmusette - Malice Mizer 2: ВВЕДЕНИЕ - PERESTROIKA 3: AC/DC - ZI:KILL 4: 雨、削ぎ落とされた感覚 - 12012 5: 花 - Bloodly-clown&放課後倶楽部 6: ~morbidity~ - WERKMARE 7: Metamorphose - HIZAKI grace project 8: 不夜蝶 - Mar'derayla 9: Flowers - Sleep My Dear 10: 薔薇への供物 - BAISER At least that's a list I'm not ashamed of because that happens a lot. Just can't go wrong with any of those 90's bands here.

It's not too strange his voice has gotten less powerful during the years. Excessive smoking, drinking, etcetera. And basically just having forced his voice throughout all of Versailles. If you listen closely to his earlier interviews and such you notice he actually has a really soft voice instead of the fake stuff he pulls off with Versailles. Aging's a big deal anyway. You've got your exceptions like i.e. Gackt, Atsushi Sakurai who just don't seem to want to stop but Kamijo's unfortunately a victim of severe strain of the vocal chords.
