There's so much music I've been into, black metal being one of them. I remember seeing Immortal at Graspop Belgium in 2008 and I was sold even more by their performance, no matter how tr00 fr0stb1tt3n and overrated they are, they're just always one of my favourites. Same goes for Burzum, though. Splendid list. 1. Hedonism - Calmando Qual 2. Eden - BLOOD 3. 鴉 - 己龍 4. Crime - ClearVeil 5. ダイイングキャスト - Vidoll 6. blind hold - La'Mule 7. CIRQUE~Art a part entier~ - Syndrome 8. in vain - D'espairsRay 9. Desperate Girl - BUCK-TICK 10. この愛だけは~80's LOVE AFFAIR - THE DEAD P☆P STARS Going for the Syndrome song all the way here. My favourite Syndrome track, actually, beside Sayashigure.
  2. Can't wait for this. CELL is one of the few recent projects I'm actually avidly interested in.
  3. Golden Bomber. I mean... They're not at all talented musically-wise, but how they get a massive crowd going is just amazing. They're entertainers above musicians and I think VK should have more of such guys just being happy with what they do.

^ Only bands on this one that interest me are D and 9GBO. Although not their strongest tracks. 1. Daybreak 〜13月の色彩〜 - exist†trace 2. Message - BAISER 3. 自殺願望 - Dué le quartz 4. G.A.L.D. (Live: Blitzkrieg) - DELUHI 5. Serenade - Vallquar-ワルキューレ- 6. Gate of the Prophet - Megaromania 7. I Want Your Love - DEAD END 8. Lascia chi'o pianga - Rose Noire 9. Voiceless Screaming - X JAPAN 10. 地獄の皇太子 - 聖飢魔II Tied between Seikima-II and X JAPAN. Both songs are amazing in their own way. Leaning more towards Voiceless Screaming though.

I thought I'd just add it here as well since I'm not certain whether or not everyone read it where I posted it. This contains very negative feedback, so this might be a warning to everyone still considering to order their Japanese merchandise with this shopping service. My Celga experience so far. If you’re ordering items other than those coming from Rakuten, I harshly advice you not to proceed in doing business with these people at all costs. About three months ago, I ordered two things off the UNDER CODE webshop with them. One of the items had a special instruction. And I think that it took them time to understand what had to be done after the application for this special instruction ended on the webshop. Anyway. Two items: that shouldn’t be such a very big deal, should it? For them it is. About two months ago, I suddenly got an invoice for the CD that was due to the second of June, so I was asking myself how on earth they had gotten me this item. I emailed them of course, and they told me it was the other item I had ordered so everything seemed fine. I payed for shipment and waited. Once I got this item in the mail, I was flabbergasted. This item didn’t belong to me, I had never ordered it! Turns out it was the CD my friend in France (I’m located in the Netherlands so go figure) ordered. Of course I was mad, because now I both had paid for something that wasn’t mine and my friend had to wait longer for his CD because now I had to ship it to him instead. I emailed Celga again, and surprisingly, they didn’t understand how this happened! After a few emails back and forth they ended up telling me that they weren’t able to purchase item #1 for me in the end. So, instead of this, you send me other people’s belongings? They refunded me for everything, so I thought I lost my item. Until now. Item #2 was still due to release so I waited for this. After a few days after its release date I emailed Celga again to check in with them and see if they actually received it (since on their website it has been saying they had this item in stock the day I ordered it so I couldn’t possibly continue applying for shipment) and they, after several confirmations (with me adding an extra link of the item after they asked) told me that everything was fine and they should pack it up and send me an invoice for shipment. Two days later, I get this invoice by ordering via SAL. $41. Now, for a CD, this would be pretty insane, wouldn’t it? I ask them why, and they don’t answer me anything but telling me that for small packages EMS is cheaper. So naturally, I change my shipment to EMS. $46. I am set off, really. How can a CD, weighing perhaps 100 gram, be that expensive to ship? My further investigation this morning lead me to the invoice saying my items weighs 1,4 kilogram. Now there were some bells ringing. My item #1 would estimate being about such a weight. And when I click the link on the invoice of the item I ordered, I get a blank page on the UNDER CODE website (this item is out of stock by now, hence the blank page). So that could only mean one thing. After telling me they couldn’t get item #1, refunding me the costs, and me thinking this bid was lost forever, they still have it. Now, I have to wait on #2 again. I have yet to place a new shipment request, and wait another few weeks perhaps to see if they actually have it at all. Now… Their customer support. It is hopeless. I think currently their American side is being ran by only three persons, and if you email with them back and forth it’s never the same person coming back at you. I think it would be much more convenient if they placed one person on an individual order instead of trying to get it done by multiple. If you ask them a question, it’s about 0% that it’s actually going to be answered. I’ve asked them an endless amount of questions and the only thing they reply is: We’ll look into it, thank you for your patience. Oh, and Keigo is plain rude. Is there anyone else having had such experiences with Celga?

I like to add my share on Celga. It's kind of off topic, but I am currently having the worst experience with them I could have ever imagined having with a shopping service, or any service in general. My Celga experience so far. Oz the Great and Powerful. Turned it off after half an hour. Awfully boring and dull. I've seen enough Oz movies.
  9. I've already read something like this previously. The entire hassle about having to be online 24/7 to play games is nonsense in the first place. Same like you can just turn the Kinect camera off if you want to. It really isn't keeping an eye on you when you're sleeping or have your XBOX turned off. I mean... Microsoft really isn't that dumb. I think personally that the presentation of the One has just somehow gotten out of hand and people have gotten a wrong idea about its concept in general.

Basically the only lyrics I read are Kisaki's. Actually I've never found much need in commenting on every sentence that's lacking proper English or something, same goes for translations of the Japanese lyrics. They're never really 100% accurate anyway even though you can get some feeling of what message is being written. Being an avid writer I think it's actually sort of strange that I don't really pay attention to lyrics of the Japanese bands I listen to. Even if they're just English songs, if it has a good flow and is possible to sing along to, it's fine for me since I don't specifically have to relate myself to every song I hear or point out the flaws in some lyrics. I also never get really disappointed when I read lyrics for a first time after having liked a long for a long time, and they plainly suck. It doesn't change anything for me at all.

^ Sounds like your typical Kisaki masterplan just to hound after money so he can get things up and running again after a brief pause.

I guess we just have to accept that they're all just people. I mean, even if he had some sort of disorder, why would it have to hold him back from doing what he loves? There's a lot of musicians who basically just create music for themselves because it's their passion and they initially don't do it for money (even if it's a nice treat of course), and if fans or interviews and anything of the sort are their weaker points, then so let it be. It's human. /Shrug

I suppose I'm the only one here who's favourite song is Transparent Shine. Oh well.

Interesting. I've listened to them at some point but not much to get too familiar with them. Although what I've heard was quite wonderful.

^ Much in his own world I guess edit: the fiddling with his outfit is so true. At one point he just rips it out of anxiety. Poor guy haha.

12012 Is one of the only bands I like who have made this turn towards the death vocals. Since their self-titled I've picked up listening to them again and I must honestly say I don't regret a single minute I've listened to their new tracks. This actually works. Wataru's vocals are simply astonishing to listen to in my opinion. But then again, it's really an opinion because I see a lot of review that are simply downgrading on his vocals. (might have something to do with personal taste i.e. the entire girl-choking drama) They give me that vibrant sensation of feeling alive and I get really sucked in to the music along the way. For this record... I haven't been skeptic, not a single moment. From the first preview I was instantly excited and the single didn't disappoint me either in the end. 身千切りの莟、奇しくも恍惚の桜 - It's a nice introduction. The piano working up to simply solid riffs is catchy, you can't deny any of that. I feel it could've had a little less vocals in my opinion, or at least it could have been kept clean since the pitches in the clean vocals rise up above the piano nicely and keep it in that vibe. 3.5/5 DEICIDA OF SILENCE - Starts off with a blast for me. That riff is simply as sweet as sliding a hot knife through butter. This is just a nice headbanger and travels back to their previous release meaning they're still experimenting with this new style. I have to agree on the 'rapping' though. Not much of a fitter as it could've just been left out in the end. Really liking the runner up starting at around 2:50. 4/5 CHABOO-CHABOO - I like death-vocals. I like anthem-themed songs. And this is one of those anthems that just fits perfectly in the middle of a solid release. Wataru's clean vocals are amazing on this track, although I can not help having this simple biased opinion where he's one of my favourite vocalists in the scene. 3.5/5 夢喰い - More or less the 'ballad' on the record. For as far as 'softer' songs can go on this release. This is definitely one I'm going to be listening to a lot. There's a lot of technical difficulties on this track. Constantly changing riffs, experimental drumming with a lot of use of the cymbals (typical for your eerier metalcore track). This is definitely my favourite on the record, although a big bummer it's not even reaching the three minute length yet. It could've been a lot longer, six minutes at least. 4,5/5 DOOR TO THE SKY - Kiiiind of a weak closer. My least favourite on the record, although not a pain to the ears in the least of ways. There's just not really much going on except the breakdown. 3/5

It's certain to say that Kisaki made Riku, up to some point. I've heard he doesn't want to do any new projects after Lin, and he also said that if Chariots is going as bad as they are now (not having any solid label anymore) we won't be hearing of him anymore. Sadly, though, he was one of the major underrated voices in VK for the past 15 years, and to have him stop because of unfortunate situations considering whatever his bandmate/president had in mind for his own wallet. Truthfully I think it's kind of over for all of them with the uprise of this entire metalcore thing taking over the scene with bands such as Nocturnal Bloodlust, Mejibray or D.I.D. Let's face it: they're too old for to make a new jump in to the depths, especially with Kisaki's reputation it'll probably be difficult to get people to like him for his music alone even though it's always been solid. It's just sad to see such good musicians being appreciated so little. I agree on the venue thing. Phantasmagoria could've filled Budokan if they wanted to, but Lin is just sad to see.
