I really hate how much I like this single bacause honestly, I'm sick and tired of how inconsistent SADIE is with their music. MADARA minus Setsu is proof that they are a band with a crapload of potential. Its honestly on par with ROSARIO as one of the best releases that they've released. I don't understand how they can continually keep trolling with droping hits then droppin mediocre crap which was a majority of The Black Diamonds. Calling it now, the next single or release is going to be complete garbage. But regarless this was a well excecuted single. Single song is fresh all the way around and the chorus is just....my goodness....great. Setsu is a typical standard Sadie track that they should stop doing. Worst thing they could do is have that, Meteor, Grieving The dead soul on the same set as a conert. Face to face is another typical VK track but it was still awesomme at the end of the day. I like. 3.5/5

You want a cookie? Anyways, I didn't wanna believe that even with the signs that they were disbanding. CRUNK was actually their redemption point for me and I would've loved to see them drop some more material. Sucks but at least they did their best to stay as original as possible while they were active. I will truly miss this band. Aie...first RES, 9Goats, and Now them. Wtf.
  4. Man...with that new set its like they've completely ditched everything they've been doing for the last few years. Its almost shocking to see what they've become over the last year or so. I'm really starting to think that their former guitarist was holding them back when he was with them because the sudden change in sound and style came outta no where. I'm gonna check this out when It drops. I liked Cunning Killer but I'm not gonna keep my hopes up to much.

ZION was one of my favorite releases of 2012. I have no doubt that this album will be amazing. I hope they drop a live DVD soon.
  7. Thats how I feel also. Its...def a song that will take a few listens to really get into.
  8. I hope some of you guys watch Power Rangers!

      Dark Kinma

I have watch the very first season.

  9. I love how well those two get along. And out of the all of the songs, I'm looking forward more to the final. If what I'm reading is correct, they're still gonna use its original tuning (which i miss them using for writing songs). ;_; C'mon this needs to drop already!!!
  10. I hate midterms...pray for me.

^DRESS OF SKIN imo is pretty amazing as well! And my goodness...I hope they release another DVD like MOR soon. Their last DVD was a complete rip off because they stripped off SO many Cold Blood songs that I'd kill to see live. Aie.

That setlist is quite bother some...FITB is an encore song and 13stairs and Ganges are gone? WTF...never mind. I'll still check it out because despite my negativity towards their last 2 albums, there are some bangers that Id love 2 see live. As for the Single, I expect nothing new. Just a typical nowadays GazettE-single-ish song. B-sides will probably be the key factor on this release. Album? Really not expecting much anyways. There's only so much you can do within a year. But again, they probably will surprise us all with some good songs as always. I'm done getting hyped up for nothing over upcoming GazettE releases, they're just not worth it anymore.

They are. And their activity since moving to SONY has proved it. First off was that horrible excuse of an A-side SHIVER, which became an Anime opening (has never been the band to ever do something of that sort). Then they release RED like 2 months later, and both songs even the 2 b-sides NARAKU and AN UNBEARABLE FACT to sound like pretty much spitting images of each other. PLEDGE was released 3 months after, B-side? Filth in The Beauty version 20,000,000 (AKA true Murderous Intent) and a crappy song about Ruki losing his voice. The only single that had a decent amount of time to create was Vortex and that was just recycled nonsense with 2 crappy b-sides again. No wonder why TOXIC was horrible. THEY HAD no time to properly get it done thanks to SONY. Their previous singles to albums had a nice gap in between them to give the band time to really get what they wanted out of the songs.

The difference between Stacked Rubbish and TOXIC is that, yeah they might've been ''forced'' to drop it but that was back when they were with PSC and there was no one there hauling ass on what they sounded like. Yes, SR might have not been their best work but it was still original. SONY since day 1 has been a thorn in the GazettE's rear since SHIVER, leading up to TOXIC and reita has even said that they got into arguments with them because of the direction of their music. I find the whole "RUKI being behind both albums" thing to be nonsense (no offense). TOXIC was SONY's experimentation album with the band and DIVISION was TOXIC part 2 with more freedom on the band members side. The GazettE is no longer a band that is NOT exempt from what happens to groups who sign to major labels. Sure they might be writing demo's now but chances are its gonna be something we already heard millions of times over again. DIM was the LAST...let me say this again, LAST shred of originality they had. They are done.

KING RECORDS needs to hop off of their nuts. This is ridiculous. Let the band relax and come up with some fresh ideas. I don't think the last 2 singles are bad but damn...too soon. WTF.
  16. Ro plz

Basing this on who I think would work well together based on style. Guitar: Kaoru (Dir en grey) Guitar: Yusuke (Lynch) or Aoi (the gazette, for the melodic stuff) Bass: Tetsu (MERRY) Drums: Tobias (BatAAr) Vocals: Koie (CROSSFAITH)

Lets hope that these demo's don't get screwed up the anus by the people upstairs at SONY. I feel like we've been getting nothing but recycled nonsense since TOXIC. This new album or single better be original.
  18. Ro plz

That's just a bad sign right there if RUKI is composing. Oh man.
  19. Ro plz

First song sounds pretty tight can't lie...I keep repeating it. Guess I was wrong about it being RINKAKU part 2. But props to them for the crap DIFFERENT SENSE background hahaha. Second song...the chorus was pretty nice then after that typical Metalcore/Sadie recycled BS. My goodness...they're still suffering from inconsistency it seems. Its like they try and go hard with a few songs then release lazy crap as a filler.

Apologies if this is a little late, seeing as this single dropped not too long ago but I couldn't resist. I'm also quite surprized that no one has bothered to review this release haha. Anyways... CRUNK is one of the best releases -OZ- has dropped since Stigma (which was a really bad single IMO). Seems to be like they were testing out new waters with the last two singles and with this album they stuck to their roots while adding a punch to it. Edge of Desire (I'm guessing that belongs to this mini, since it was dropped a few months before the Mini), Takes the cake as the best song on this album. The guitars from begining to end just screams out "pay attention to me" as most of their songs do and that chorus...dat chorus. This whole song in general. Amazing. Succubus is right behind it, it comes off as a typical song because of the generic structure thats used in alot of indies, let alone alot of songs in general. But damn, they went about in a pretty fresh way. The brigde gets me every single time as well as the breakdown. Very well done. I've listened to the other songs as well and I too was very impressed by them but those 3 just stick out to me the most. I really hope they take a nice hiatus instead of disbanding (which seems to be one of the things that could be happening to them). This single shows that they can still deliver bangers but maybe they could take the time to try and find that new sound they could be looking for. 9.5/10

The intro song...is so amazing. I wish they just full on did a whole track on it. Other than that the rest of the album is pretty much MEH for me. Yeah a few bangers here and there but nothing that hasnt been done by them or stands out really honestly. Majestical Parade, Killer Show, and right at number 1, ANIMA is their best work. Can't say they've beat those albums with their recent material.

Def was fishy bout it via the preview but the full track is actually really good. It packs a punch, the style has been done before but I like the fresh feel i get from it and Hazuki’s vocals are just…BOMB. Its not the best thing they’ve done but I gotta give it props. Now to Crystalize…let me just start off by saying……..HOLY CRAP. THIS IS WHAT I missed from them in their last two albums. I felt like I was Listening to a new revamped/awesome version of An Illusion. One of the best songs they’ve put out since Shadows… and it just gives off this hardcore/chill/party-ish(the clapping-ish part) type mood. I really hope KING RECORDS gives them more lee way with their music while incorperating new ideas into their sound. I’m very bitter with them for making them put out their last two rushed albums (It was said by Hazuki that this was the case with IC). But these last 2 singles give me hope in them. Lets see where this goes. Overall rating 8/10

So they can end up like all the other bands who started off there then got whored off to a major label who suck now? No thanks. 2011-2012 was such a fishy time for them...I really hope it isn't disbandment or a Hiatus. But id prefer both over signing over to a Major label any day. They're an amazing band and should keep that nice distinct sound they have.

No need to do a song by song analysis. This single is a step up from DSS. And It seems as if the break really did Kaoru and Die well. Looks like they were able to practice and do more than just chug their way throughout the song. Single is debo. Chorus is debo. Kiri to mayu is pretty much a new B-side with the only hint to the old version is the intro riff and chorus. Didnt like the remix at first but it grew on me. This single is just badass. 9.5/10

DIE KUSSE: Pretty much a flashier but more amazing version of Black Baccarat and all their other Drop C songs. The pre/chorus and chorus are pretty creative and fresh. The acoustic part in the beginning and middle of the song was unexpected but well placed. The bassist has to be the best thing the band has to offer. My goodness he or she is just nasty and I like how its mixed so that their not drowned by the other instruments. This song by itself already is a contender for one of the best songs ive heard in 2013. I just hope that they grow from using the same generic metalcore flow with their songs though. Yeah it was tight when they first dropped but it can get old quick even with how much creativity they throw in their tracks. VIOLET: This is a pretty simple but actually really awesome track for some reason. I cant put my finger on it! I love how chill homeboy is with his voice on this one. I was almost certain that he was gonna break out screaming at anytime. Another solid track. Can't complain. WANT: A complete waste. Sounds like your typical "lets be hardcore and cool" VK song. All those voices weren't needed...damn, yeah...this was the downside of the single. Overall: 4/5 I didn't want to like these guys when they came out but I understand why they get the hype that they've been getting. Seems as if they're actually trying unlike alot of the other indie bands. I look forward to their upcoming releases. I am pleased with this single.
