Calling it now. One of those songs is RINKAKU rip off The other is a Gazette rip off. Third is probably an ORIGINAL track.

Everything LYNCH has done after Shadowz has been fairly...disappointing. I Believe In me was a horrible album...yes it had a few decent tracks on it but it was overall just bad. Mirrors was an OK single but still its only listenable a few times until I get bored of it. IC (even though I love the self titled track and Frozen), was also a complete shitstorm. Lightning is no better. Also idk if its because of the label, but they now look like your average boyband now. Once again another band that was well off without the need of a Major label has went off and signed and is now buttrapped and will be soon be forgotten.

To start off I'm legit baffled at the posts stating The Black Diamonds is better than Cold Blood. To each his or her own but c'mon are you friggin kidding me?! Cold Blood is the best album Sadie has made hands down. Even the typical catchy/anime type songs on that album stand out more than a good chunk of what was on The Black Diamonds. However, there are "strong" points in the album. The opening track, Kimi no Mitai Mono IS amazing. Its clear that its the bands interpretation of Merciless Cult. You'd have to be a complete idiot or just plan ignorant not to see that. Same thing goes for Tear Drop. Another well done track. Would've done even better if I didn't hear it before...by the Gazette (Pledge Ring a bell?). Rosario (Different Sense) was another kickass track from the get go. The rest of the album however has been done...again...and again...If not by Sadie or some other VK band. Cold Blood makes the rest of this album look like complete crap. Track after track except for Cry More was great. Goes to show you that SADIE has no sound, and is just a band that is here to take up space and I agree with Will...they will always be Dir en grey /Gazette Lite.

And this is what happens when a perfectly good Indies band gets screwed over by switchin 2 Major. Not surprised to be honest. Sucks though, this band is indeed pretty talented.
-
Ill review the single track for now. The preview was pretty grabbing and I couldn't wait to hear the full thing. Now that I heard it, I have mixed feelings about it. Not really a big fan of the song structure. The verse sound very generic-ish but the bridge is pretty cool, but from there to the Verse is just weird. The chorus IMO doesn't fit the song at all. The best part of song was after the second chorus and I like how it faded out with that solo. Pretty nice. I think It'll grow on me later but now I'll give it a 6.5/10

This...setlist is horrible -____- Anyways...I was waiting for this announcement. So what Ruki lied, at least we get to get a single to judge whether this album is gonna be worth it or not
-
The Gazette-TOXIC LYNCH-I believe In me. Worst of the worst...
-
Everyone...prepare your anus. This is gonna be one hell of an album.
-
Its catchy I give it that...but its nothings special. Sounds like something you'd hear off of an Anime OP. They're pretty much wash-up has beens. However they are spectacular live.
-
I was amped up for this DVD until I saw the setlist. Wtf SADIE...???
-
TOXIC was a horrible album...good lord. IDK how 2 feel about the whole new album thing yet but i guess its a good thing that Ruki sounds super confident bout it... RTU was a pretty solid single so maybe this new release will be actually worth looking forward to.
-
Album wise, There hasn't been that many solid releases. And I second the comment about TOXIC. (Don't waste your time. Horrible album) MERRY-Beautiful Freaks (Might not be your style but i recommend checkin it out) SADIE-Cold Blood (HIGHLY recommend this!) Don't listen much to Indies so can't help you there. Singles. LYNCH-MIRRORS. SADIE-ROSARIO

I am sooooo looking forward to this. Holy crap that is a long/legit setlist...SAY WHAT?!
-
Long story short... Alot of these VK bands that are hot or are rising up to reach that level, will be picked up by a major label. Once that happens, what ever made them original or different will just get tossed away, thus resulting in their music sounding bland, boring, and OH LETS NOT FORGET, full of "catchy" cheap choruses (Yall know damn well what im talkin about). Its happened to the GazettE, LYNCH, GIRUGAMESH. Why stick to a genre that goes through this same repetitive cycle? I personally think VK is a joke now.

The PV is pretty fun ngl. I havent listened to much MUCC lately but ive been hearing that they've been sliding down the wrong path... Enh...this song gave me hope. Not bad at all.
-
Despite a few exeptional songs on the album, in general it was a complete let down. Worst release by the Gazette since Stacked Rubbish. 1.FITB 2.LEECH 3. BARETTA 4. RUTHLESS DEED 5. VORTEX 6. 13STAIRS 7. BEFORE I DECAY 8.AKAI ONE PIECE 9. RICH EXCREMENT 10. HESITATING MEANS DEATH

REMEMBER THE URGE 2/10- Horrible song. Ruki legit sounds bored and its...just a bad song. CLEVER MONKEY 8/10- FRESH. Its new. Its badass. NOT BORING. But not amazing. CHIJOU 9.5-The preview made this the song that i couldnt wait to hear. Kinda reminds me off their DIM era stuff but its still something that hasnt been done. Chorus is pretty nice. BLAH. AWESOME SONG. The GazettE has done what i thought they couldn't. Impress me again.

/facepalm I'm pretty sure lynch did everything themselves. I doubt Hazuki would have let lynch go onto a major label if they would have changed their music. I also don't see how this is "mediocre" work as it sounds pretty much like everything else they've done, which isn't a bad thing. Yea...um...do the following. Listen to their previous albums and then listen to I BELIEVE IN ME AGAIN. If you think that album is anywhere on par with SHADOWZ or any other previous release then you really haven't been payin much attention to their music. No offense.
-
I think LYNCH is a really talented band and ive enjoyed alot of their work but this album has got to be their weakest release. Clearly, its another case where a J-rock band full of potential is stripped of their originality and is forced into creating mediocre work, thanks to once again...their major label. UNTIL I DIE-The chorus...as well as the song structure, def has been done b4 by many bands. I BELIEVE IN ME-Something fresh, more LYNCH like, really enjoyed this track. JUDGEMENT-AGAIN WITH THE DAMN CHORUS...and it was just a boring song. LIE-Catchy song, still nada special...AND even though they tried hard with making the chorus different, still sounded the same as UNTIL, and JUDGEMENT. -273.15℃-Once again, nothing special...It just felt like a filler track Nice track 2 listen 2 if u wanna headbang though. THIS COMA-Another fresh track, not my favorite but its listenable. SCARLET: Loved it. It was one of the songs where i didnt mind the tapping...(honestly is that the only thing the guitarist knows how to do??) ALL THIS I’LL GIVE YOU-Probably the best track on the entire album. Can't stop bumpin it. TIAMAT-Better that -273, wish it could've been longer. Still felt like a filler track BEFORE YOU KNOW IT-It has a nice dark feeling 2 it and i like the vocals alot. It felt like the song was gonna get heavy after a certain point...kinda bummed it didnt. A GLEAM IN THE EYE-I gotta give this a few listens but im not impressed by it honestly. Overall rating: 4.5/10 SHADOWZ was better than this. Except for a few tracks, i am highly disappointed with this release. I feel like the LYNCH b4 the label switch could've produced something a lot better.

I would've hoped you guys would be buzzing about this by now...
-
Wait the thing thats getting to me is that DIR EN GREY is making their own music and they are under the same company...whats DIR EN GREY doing thats not allowing their music to be controlled that the gazettE and these other bands are not doing?
-
Lets say that the GazettE really takes some time to listen to their past releases and decide maybe that the switch to SONY wasn't the right move...cant they leave? Or does SONY have them on a leash? Sorry if this is a dumb question...
-
I wanna agree with you but its SO HARD to :/ The singles before DIM gave you the automatic feeling that the album was going to be phenomenal...the singles that they've been flushing out (as well as the recent b-sides) are giving the feel that its pretty much gonna be a mediocre album with recycled material or STACKED RUBBISH part 2 lol.
-
Single was lame like i predicted... It could be that SONY is tampering with the way the band's music sounds. Its happened to many bands and they just end up becoming mainstream puppets. The GazettE is treading down that path. GazeRock is def dead.
