It can be the album you feel encompasses the mood of the forum, the album that meant the most to you during your time visiting here, that rare album that you finally found, or any other possible reason. The dark and edgy mood mixed with excellent song writing was just what teen Ito craved and was looking for more off when he was setting up the the forum. I mean, if it wasn't obvious, just look at the forum's original name - Tainted World. Gee, I wonder where we came up with that idea from...

I saw a ten minute video and immediately lost interest. I don't need reasons not to hate YOSHIKI. I need this new album to come out so I can stop caring about this band in its entirety. How did LUNA SEA have a whole revival and YOSHIKI can't crank out a single album?

As the title says, I'm interested in recruiting members for:
 
1) compiling available tabs of vk music in the web;
2) correcting them if they have mistakes;
3) transcribing published official "band scores" using interactive virtual score plataforms (like GuitarPro);
4) looking up for the said scores scans on the Web or buy them;
4) transcribing by ear songs that doesn't have an official "band score" release in Japan;
5) finally making up a single and exhaustive archive for the tabs.

I'm meeting Yoshiki for a Q&A session on the 19th of October, if there aren't any news by that point on the album I'll just ask him for a release date.
My best guess is that he'll immediately cancel the Q&A and have his guards escort me off the premises.

Takashi Miike live-action adaption of Blade of the Immortal looks so fucking sweet. Miike is the perfect director of a film like this too, as he's gonna make the entire film a big, fucking bloodbath. Can't wait!

I feel bad for D's Orokashii Yuu no Yume PV. It's a gorgeous PV in 480p. LOL

One of the elderly bandsmen I deeply respect told me recently, that he felt quite uncomfortable when he saw western bands trying to be visual kei. It makes him feel like the japanese visual kei is  ダサい too. Well, sometimes it really is. 

so you had an opportunity to ask for his opinion on the developing north korea nuclear crisis and its relation to the everyday lives of japanese people, but went for validation of die/may existence from the mouth of VK godmother herself?

i'm taking a guess and assuming your copy of ジャイアニズム is the 2006 VAP remaster, which in my opinion sounds absolutely terrible.
通常版 is two jewel cases w/ tan booklets (& separate catalog #s) [VPCC-84156 & VPCC-84157]
初回版 is one jewel case w/ the same tan-coloured booklet in a black jacket w/ gold trim [VPCC-84155]
They're the same audio/tracklist, only difference afaik is packaging & booklet contents.

i don't know why they thought this was a good idea but this release was remastered to have a similar sound quality to メア's upcoming VAP albums, which i really don't think these songs sound nice with.
i'm not 100% on where this PV actually comes from but i'm taking a guess & saying it was included w/ the first press of 自由奔放天真爛漫 [SDR-021], since that's the first release where the track shows up.
So as far as getting the ~exact same~ audio that's on the PV, check out that disc.

One thing you might want to look into is the 2003 Speed Disk 'original' ジャイアニズム [SDR-049 & SDR-050] (only 1 ver. of release across two jewel cases).
I say 'original' bc every track that's on this disc is ALSO a remaster (except for 華談 & love tripper; they're new recordings here) but imho this master is miles better for every single track, compared to both their  first appearances on various speed disk singles/omnibus and any later remaster/retakes.
I'm a bit biased here but this is definitely my favourite release of メア's catalog, if you call it one release.

I think the sound guy took every instrument's track & slammed a hard compressor on it & drowned Yomi's voice in a stupid amount of reverb, putting it kinda low down in the mix. Both the kind of decisions that should ruin a release but somehow it worked super well here, which is why i'm so pissed the later release went for such a 'normal' approach instead.

I hope 雅-MIYAVI- wins with a fatallity
