As the title says, which groups/artists did you ignore for too long? Could be a band that had a lot of hype and talk when they came out, could be music that has really resonated with you and you feel you should've checked them out earlier.
 
My top pick would have to be Merry, I always knew their name but just never bothered to listen to them. Someone here posted a video of 'Montage' live and within about thirty seconds of hearing it I knew I was hooked. I even feel a bit guilty for not listening to them sooner given their importance and with such a big discography it's quite a task to go through it all.

My set entire set up (hoping to add a Hario manual grinder and get rid of the cheap Walmart (Hamilton Beach) metal blade grinder). 
 

The end result, awful at taking pictures, the cup is half full, it didn't make THAT little lol. Also, please excuse the paint job back there, whoever painted it before we moved in got spots everywhere. 

Born in England my parents were constantly having tea so I had a bit of an affinity towards it but I'm painfully specific with how I like my tea, only two brands (PG Tips or Yorkshire) brewed for 7 minutes, dash of milk etc.
 
Coffee on the other hand I really like the variety in taste and aroma and since investing in beans, a press and a grinder I've taken more of a liking to it. As a smoker I really enjoy a cigarette with a cup of coffee in the morning as well, tea just doesn't have the same mix.

NGL the slap bass is pretty cool but on the flip side, although it's a pretty generic chugging riff it sounds awfully similar to:

Generic vk taking influence from generic WWFcore is such a cross-pollination of two extra potent brands generic that I can barely breathe here 

I was in a few local bands and some of our sets got decent turnouts (bare in mind we lived in a small city) but I was always late to join bands so I could never really make their sound my own. The best group I was in was called 'Flock North' and we played political fuelled rock...I had no interest in politics so it was a bit like how The Smiths sang about meat being murder but Morrisey was the only vegetarian.
 
As for now I'm a small time hobbyist producing lofi hip hop and Breakcore although I did have a breakcore track released on a compilation a few years ago which is my crowning achievement. I'm trying to incorporate VK somehow but I'm still finding the best way to do it.

For someone who only dabbles this is good! You've certainly nailed the Castlevania style (It definitely has that playstation One vibe)
But as some constructive criticism, I'd suggest lowering the volume and treble on the hats and cymbals.
