bonsaijodelfisch reacted to Pretsy in Shiina Ringo / Tokyo Jihen
^ the full song is out on Jps and it sorta reminds me of "Mellow"...except in "SUNNY"-er (HA!) format.
Speaking of which, she had a new, interesting live arrangement of "Marunouchi" out (shout-out to Uki and HZM!!!):

+ she strolled around LA during Grammy after-parties and whatnot, lol
edit: anyone looking forward to Ringo Expo '14 DVD? You better expect some neat bangers, and let this preview (for instance) convince you to look forward , daaaamn

bonsaijodelfisch got a reaction from CAT5 in CAT5's 2014 Favorites!
i've seen everybody and their dogs fan-rage about that d'angelo album, and that sample shows me why that might be. have to chekc this one out for sure, aswell as all the rest, my library has been kinda static these past months so this and the 25-mh-mas list are very appreciated

bonsaijodelfisch got a reaction from Original Saku in Currently Airing & Watching Anime Discussion Topic
i'm watching exactly those, except for aldnoah as i didn't watch the first season. i'm kind of lukewarm on the most of them so far, but hey, it's only been one episode...
assass-classroom was enjoyable, but i'm sceptical if the bonus of it's ridicculous setting and sheer weirdness will carry the attention longer than the first episode, but dunno, the manga is supposed to be really good so i still have my hopes up
tokyo ghoul started nice, introduced a shitton of characters and regions and whatnot, so i don't understand anything so far (can't really recall that much plotwise from the ending of last season, so that might be a bit of a problem there ) but it starts with a bang and lots of potential
death parade didn't really offer that much so far, as i already knew the OVA or oneshot or whatever, which is basicly the same, just with other candidates. could be cool but the opening makes me fear a bit that the overarching plot might turn out really not that fitting, that's just speculation at this point tho
didn't remember durarara beeing so hectic and loud, but really don't remember that much about durarara in the first place, so maybe need to skimm through the first season again. looks fantastic style-wise so far tho.
so yeah, nothing here that i'm particularly hype about so far, but lets see where these things are going in the upcoming weeks

it's been a while that i've seen a church from the inside, but when recording blackmetal it just seems appropriate...

bonsaijodelfisch got a reaction from Jigsaw9 in 25 Days of ChristMHas Discussion Thread - 2014
to be honest, the album was kinda meh for me, but that sample-song it self, daaaaaaaaammmn. it's just one of those songs that have something about them, in this case some simplicity and riffage that make you want to randomly throw your extremities around in a wild attempt at dancing, making yourself look really silly.
A+ song, C+ mini

bonsaijodelfisch got a reaction from PsychoΔelica in Show your Room !
the pictures i posted in the "Gear"-topic in the musicians sub-forum show quite a lot of my room, so i'm just gonna relink them here
to the left of my room-door you get this__________taking a picture from that blue couch will look something like this
___
changing the position to the right with still focusing on the guitar-wall gives you the back of my table/workspace which acts as a room-divider which looks like on the right
___
(right picture taken just now with the crappiest cameraphone in the universe...also yes, the amp isn't here right now, it's still in the studio for now)
rotating around the guitar-amp leads to the second to last corner with the bed (behind amp+desk. very important, laptop-table in front of bed ^^)
___
and the single remaining corner (obviously again taken just now with my primate-communication-device) contains nothing spectacular.
mainly my closet, a little pizza-oven named steven, a broken laptop-lcd hanging above the max-payne-poster and the blue couch to the right, where we started....
me untidy? why yes, how did you know??

bonsaijodelfisch got a reaction from AliceAuua14 in What video games are you currently playing?
okay, so i'm currently playing divinity original sin with a friend in co-op, and it's magnificent!
the quests and characters are very humorous (think like the more funny parts of the elder scrolls games), the graphics are actually quite beautiful (not in a "whoa next gen" kinda way, just in general nice aesthetics) but most of all the fight system is magnificent!
this is turn based battles in all of it's glory, some f the bosses are frightenly hard, but you always have tons of options how to proceed. we are playing as a black-mage (me) and an assassin, so my friend focuses on dealing tons of damage, while the mage basicly controls the battle. stunning, freezing, and blinding enemies, using the terrain (Water/Blood/fog and electricity, oil/poison and fire etc). buiding barriers of earth and fire, trapping enemies behind, or flatout porting enemies right in front of the assassin, teleporting huge barrels on the top of the enemies heads etcetc. it's a blast!
we both play as "lone wolf" so we get stat and exp boosts, but can't have any additional party members, otherwise you could get up to 4 ppl, which either makes the battles even more strategic, or perhaps enables some point by numbers routines, i dunno. as a team of two it's a bliss tho
