I played a bit of Rogue Legacy too, and to me it felt more like a... roguelike version of a Metroidvania. Also played a bit of Ori & The Blind Forest, that game is ABSOLUTELY beautiful, please check it out if only to enjoy the scenery

It's definitely not the best, most profound or deepest plot in videogames, but I always did like the somewhat melancholic/moody tone Alundra had. I've heard a lot of good stuff about Xenogears' plot, but I've come to find that jrpg gameplay just isn't my thing anymore these days. Does the game do anything interesting gameplay wise or is it the standard slow turn-based stuff?
