Been single for a few months now. Being in a relationship is/was pretty great and I miss the whole being in love thing, but yeah, not sure how long it'll take me to feel ready for another one. Getting my shit together and working on my mental health seem way more important these days.

    life-changing
  7. Definitely New Year's. It still holds that kind of ~magical feel to me somehow, much like Christmas used to do when I was younger. Plus I get to spend it with my closest irl friends talking trash and drinking, so yeah. Don't really care about the others.

Chanty - 不完全な音楽 Incredibly pleased as to how this came together. I'm relatively new to Chanty, but this mini sealed the deal for me. Heavy bass lines everywhere, great vocals, catchy tunes and lots to like. These guys are good. 宇多田ヒカル - Fantôme Really enjoyed the new Hikki. It's super chill and mature, which is exactly what I was looking forward from her. Plus it's gay as hell, so yeah, no way I wouldn't like it. I could mention half the songs as highlights for me. BUCK-TICK - アトム 未来派 No.9 Second everything @Jigsaw9said. I'm a very casual B-T fan, but this kind of album just keeps grabbing my attention every once in a while. It still boggles my mind that they're still able to pull of stuff like this after I don't know how many decades on the road. Awesome stuff. Clazziquai Project - Travellers Love love love Clazziquai and this new album did not disappoint. It's not that different from their other stuff, but still an incredibly pleasant listen as always. I've been listening to this for weeks now and it only gets better. Also, Alex remains as one of my favorite vocalists of all time. Honorable Mentions: TK from 凛として時雨 - white noise Sure, it's not as good as flowering or even Fantastic Magic, but it's alright for me. There aren't any mindblowing songs like phase to phrase or Abnormal trick, but... it's okay for what it is? I don't know. Ghost - POPESTAR EP I freaking love when these guys drop their "darker" sound and go more pop or straightforward rock in these EPs. 2013's If You Have Ghost delivered one of my favorite songs from them (the title-track), and now POPESTAR did the same, this time with Square Hammer. Even the music video was a delight to watch. Still need to hear: TAMTAM, THE NOVEMBERS, Aimer, KEEL, Alcest, Bon Iver, Flyying Colours, etc.

Oh man, I haven't listened to them in so long. Old Vidoll was so, so good. I used to listen to their entire disco for weeks back in 04/05 and just yesterday for some odd reason I had "Toumei Nakago" stuck in my head for hours. Perhaps it's time to revisit their stuff again.

SUGIZO please get out of this
  11. 4ho!!!!!! I couldn't stand her Engrish in the brown, but this sounds a lot better! Thanks for the heads up, @CAT5

    is this @Tokage
  13. hmmm this new TK album is actually not bad? I like maybe 6 or 7 songs out of the 10, which is quite a lot considering I wasn't expecting anything memorable. "subliminal" off the Secret Sensation single is still better than all the songs on it. lol

    Kra will outlive them all.

This is the sole reason I can't take DEZERT seriously to this day.

I wish they'd perform a concert entirely dedicated to the 10th anniversary of their magnum opus aka Zekkeishoku this year :~
