idk if i would win or not, but i would def fight shinya.  he’s the first one that came to mind.  mainly bc since i talked about how he was rude and dismissive towards me when i met him, people here told me that he’s kinda known for being like that.  idk man, being like that towards your fans is like shitting where you eat.  and it’s not like i approaches him to bother him for a pic or anything?  like maybe i could understand that, but he was signing with toshiya after the diru show i saw.  even if he didn’t volunteer to do it, or he didn’t want to, like my dude that’s your job.  don’t be such an ass, smh.

Who do you think you could  win against in a fight? How would you do it? Even if you couldn't win, is there anyone you'd like to fight? 
 
Personally I'd love to challenge gosan's vocalist, just to wipe that smug look off his face. He's all talk, so it wouldn't take much to beat him. A broomstick to the groin would leave him out of commission for a while. 

I'd pit the three silent Ms (Mana, Meto and Minpha) against each other just to see if they remain silent as they beat the shite out of each other. One would get eliminated, then whoever won out of the two remaining guys would have to catch my fists of fury.

Unfortunately the loudness wars hit vk before the mid 2000s. A handful of late 90s/early 2000s releases are among the loudest albums in my library. The waveforms on some of them look like Merzbow.
I'm looking at you, Lucifer. That one's legitimately up there with Death Magnetic, Californication, et al.
 
I think a lot of people incorrectly use "lo-fi" as a synonym for "I wish this album had more low-end." Something like Luna Sea's first album (not the re-recording) has better sound quality than Dir en Grey's last album or some other clipped-to-death modern release in terms of being able to hear everything, spaciousness, dynamics, everything being in its proper sonic space, etc. Of course it's really thin sounding, like a lot of old vk, but it's a tradeoff I'll take over brickwalling any day.

Tangentially, the first Deshabillz album feels like you're watching a haunted VHS tape in some shed in a forest, and it would be a million times less creepy and awesome if it had more professional production

Album art with the artist's face on it. There are some like this that are very well done (like "Ikuru Sainou" by THE BACK HORN), but usually I find these to be very cheesy for some reason.

Man say what you will I'm fucking shocked that out of all the bands weve lost in the past year it's insane this is a band that is gonna "survive" going into 2021 lol

People in the thread don't hate dimlim, we want them to succeed because they showed some of the strongest potential we'd seen around in a stale scene. 
 
People are salty because dimlim are shooting themselves in the foot and fucking up what could've been fantastic for fans, the band and vk.

These were never real or official, every copy of these are bootlegs, recorded and manufactured by fans. Shipping from Belgium, EU, and PayPal only. I'm asking 60EUR for the entire bunch, it costed me much more originally. Shipping to the US and most of the EU is either 13.05EUR, or 26.10EUR, depending if it's over 1kg or not, it could be or not!

I--Fucking Hell man, going to lives at the BLACKHOLE, CYBER, EDGE, etc. for the first time were all on my personal Visual Kei pilgrimage that I was planning after I finished my degree... I'm kind of heartbroken. At least the others are still there... Haha...  

The staff of Ikebukuro CYBER communicates via twitter that the facility will be permanently closed.
 
PS : I'm Shocked... first Takadanobaba AREA, now this... 2020 move to finish!!! T_T

Damn, RIP AREA. What a fun place to see a VK show.
 
AREA seemed to have real cachet as a barometer for a band's rising popularity. Like "ah ok they got their first AREA oneman let's see if their next is at O-West etc."

In shocking and disheartening  news, the infamous Takadanobaba SUPER LIVE THEATER AREA is closing down in a little more than a year. On December 31, 2021, the venue that's housed countess VK lives from bands like Nightmare, The GazettE and DEZERT is closing its doors due to the demolition of the building its located inside. Quite a few live DVDs have been shot in AREA over the years, so it'll love on in the footage and in attendees' memories, but it is a loss for fans of VK from the 2000s.

Please also keep in mind that LiME composes ALL SONGS and all LYRICS. He have said tons of times that he feels super pressed for composing, and making a single is already a big pain for him, so he doesn't want to have the pressure to write a full album since it will be such a big struggle for him. 
Well, maybe he can throw  all his compositions during the pandemic to a full album, who knows, but I don't care if they don't, as long they release some good music.
 
The latest releases are good but didn't hit me as the first ones.

Well if it all comes down to lack of money, maybe they can do a EP release with an instrumental version of the latest single in 40-50 parts and release it digitally.
