I feel like I've actually heard this rumour about Mana and Kanon like once, but considering that I've heard like 3X as many rumours about Mana's secret wife or him being gay (yeah people still propagate that for some reason), I may just be misremembering which one I heard this time. Age wise and sense wise, this Kanon Wakeshima one doesn't really hold. Also, I think they look nothing alike at all.

and tbh "all of that talent may have been inherited. " judging by where I gave up on trying to get into Kanon that's a p heavy hit at Mana's blue wigs and shit, miss Kanon does not reveal much in talent department since Mana's productions ended.

So, idk if anyone has ever heard of this type of rumour before, but last year in my work as a call center agent I had a couple of friends who were also somewhat into vkei. One of them told me about Mana and Kanon Wakeshima being an amazing duo of mentor and apprentice and how successful they are.
 
He told me that Kanon was such a talented person and that all of that talent may have been inherited. Idk where he got his sources, but he told me that in the sites he goes to there are/were rumors circling about that Kanon is actually Mana's daughter. I tried to search it up and even in Tanuki I tried to see if Kanon's name would show up but nada. So I was wondering if anyone else has heard of this rumor or was my friend just fucking around with me on this one.
 
Also, total respect to Mana and Kanon's privacy for this but, I am curious if there has been talk about this before.

Thanks! The first band I heard were An Cafe and I remember just being a bit ‘meh whatever’ about VK until I discovered Malice Mizer and then I was hooked lol

I think I’m like a lot of people lately who have been rediscovering their love of VK lately. I haven’t really kept up with any bands since I was about 16 so it’s been 10 years! Quarantine has left me bored and looking up loads of old songs on YouTube.

I was a HUGE Malice Mizer fan. Some other bands I liked were Madeth Gray’ll, Nightmare, Nega, DEATHGAZE, deadman, Schwarz Stein & Versailles.

I think Kaya is a very good people... he are so respetcful to his fans, love travel and meet his fans outside Japan, he smile and laugh all the time, is a very genuine people.

if one really thinks about it, politicians are in fact quite like musicians of visualkei:
- it's all about the looks & public performance
- their instruments are the states of the country they govern
- sometimes they go on indefinite hiatus
- no matter how many scandals they get involved in, there will always be stans ready & waiting for them to make a comeback
- multi-type albums & singles

Jokes aside, not saying he was 100% in the dark about it, but on those two albums Asaki was the main "composer" 
There are no plagiarism issues in any of the previous albums (Jake was the composer then) nor in any the 4+ bands Full was in after Guniw (where he is the main composer)
