Nighttime Jae

I've never cared for Mejibray and a huge chunk of the "big" bands within the scene, with a few exceptions of course. I'm not trying to be hipsterish at all costs, it's just that I have a hard time getting into anything that I find overexposed. If I like something, I'll like it regardless of the popularity (or lack of thereof) of the band, it's just that it happens rarely with well-known bands.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that has found it particulatly underwhelming. Perhaps it's because I'm a huge fan of Dragula, but I was expecting so much more!
 
I get it that not every queen is a "spooky" queen, but it was such an exciting chance to think outside the box and do something creative and it just... fell flat. For pretty much everyone. Really a boring runaway challenge overall.
 
Basically, same thing here, just following out of habit, but even then I often find myself forgetting about it even.

why not? i think it's never late to give your love and respect for a talented person in whatever way you express it.

Tbh for how expensive this was I would say this was overpriced af for how little there is to it but for how much I love this band I have no problem with supporting them 

What about "La'mule"?  I was never able to take it seriously... I think about a donkey xD   there's also "Anli Pollicino", sounds like a disease name..  "Cocklobin" is definitely embarrassing as previously mentioned lol ," Mongol800" is very random too,  there's "LEGO BIG MORL" wth is this name, maybe they are lego fans? xD
and "LUV'ra-Doll" I don't even know what to say about this one, just plain strange.. hehe
 
 
 

So. Recently I've had a dream about Sakurai from BUCK-TICK. We were talking over the phone because he was looking for a nanny for his cats. (😹)
He basically interviewed me over the phone and hired me. But when I come to his house, he's not there. His son is there instead. Yes, his secret son (it wasn't the guy from Vaniru nor any other rumored option, just... a dude. That looked a lot like him in his younger days. Possibly with a bit more of a baby face).
Unfortunately I woke up shortly afterwards, I barely got to see the cats. At the end I didn't even manage to see Sakurai in the flesh, but his voice alone was.... something, and the dream still made me wake up sort of hot and bothered. 🤷‍♀️

This was a few nights ago but it's somehow so stupid it keeps bothering me lol.
So I had a dream that Virge released a new song called "get a job and I'll date you". And there was a music video for it too which was just Ryo dancing randomly in a weird monster costume. I think it was supposed to be like a werewolf costume or something?
 
(I guess I've been a bit stressed about getting a summer job this year so my brains are subconsciously trying to motivate me or something...?? I don't think this is a very good way though...)

Sorry to post twice in a row in the same thread, but I had another weird dream about a J-rocker last night that I think is worth sharing.
I dreamt that Hitomi (ex-Moran) joined the infamous league of J-rockers who get found out for evading their taxes, only he didn't get found out by the police; he got found out by his friends. When they confronted him about it, he just broke down and started crying his eyes out, then he asked them for help before he got caught by the authorities, so props to him for that, I guess. Anyways, that crying must've been lucid because when I woke up, the entire left half of my face was stained with tears.
God, why am I so obsessed with Hitomi lately? Am I going through a phase?

CORPSE ANOTHER PERSON is pretty silly too.

If you ask me this looks a whole lot like ka-yu wanted a definition on reforming or new concerts or something like that and the other guys were like "eeeeeh, I dunno, not now I'm still rich", and he got pissed off and left the band
 
In any case, this sucks. They were my first real addiction in VK, my first real "disbandment" heartbreak since I started hardcore listening to japanese music almost 18 years ago. Gaia blew my mind in such a way I'll never forget.

KISAKI PROJECT will restart activities with new vocalist ENDIGO (ex-Still Echo --> Overworld --> BaTAAr) as of April 1! Their first single, "And the rest is rust and stardust... " will be released sometime in September, and their first live will be around the same month.

Ex-EVE Takeru (and now CLACK inc.) has two twin brothers (named Yuu and Kaname) who are also vocalists. They're currently a pop-rock duo called TWiN PARADOX, but they've been in several indie rock bands in the Osaka scene, such as 80/TRACK, which had a techno/dance/rock sound and somewhat a vk-ish aesthetic.
 
They opened for EVE  a couple times, even though they of course used to deny their relationship (not fooling anyone most likely since they look like a triplet almost lol)

It also means that I'm creative, intelligent and perceptive and that I go off on tangents a lot... at least, that's what the Logician page says in a nutshell. That sounds a bit flattering if I'm honest, but I'll admit to going off on tangents a lot.
