I second the hate for most colorful bands. Can't stand them, especially An Cafe. I also can't stand X Japan. Their music isn't terrible, but their fans treat them like the second coming of jesus when in reality they sound just like any other western 80's metal band. This triggers a special kind of annoyance whenever I hear them. Also I hate Versailles and anything Kamijo does. 
 

True conspiracy: Yukkika will still be directing Diaura behind the scenes, he just merged with Misa's label to save expenses/get tax cuts. Misa gets to boost the profile of FORUM bands (who are being pushed very hard to little avail) by having them associated with Diaura, and having their bands as preferred opening acts for Diaura.

Also guys can we stop nominating Kizu for everything. Apart from the drummer, their looks aren't really anything phenomenal. Nominate him alone instead. It  feels like people are just throwing their name around now because they're their favorite band.

I'm actually really enjoying newer bands. Even if they're not revolutionizing anything, they're bringing back sounds that were (or are being lost). My favorites are Mamireta, xaa xaa, and DAMY.

this is misa's fault

Their last album was definitely their weakest release, but even their weakest was still good. I was just thinking that they were being kind of quiet too and now this. This blows. 

DAMY and Vexent played together quite often, didn't they? Kind of interesting that they announced their disbandment on the same day. I wonder if some of their members will come back together in new bands.

Yeah, Moi Dix Mois is pretty much 'Programmed Harpsichords Non-Stop: The Band'. Not sure whether they had an influence on these newer bands tho.

Let me guess, this is gonna be another 'mystery band' trying to drum up hype while having totally unknown members, who are gonna end up dropping a '0th' release and vanish into the great beyond within the scope of 2 years tops

would any of you be any happier if their cut their hair short, washed away the make-up and didn't refill the botox and went straight for whatever one ok rock knock off sound they would have produced on a ~regular ~rawk label? (while keeping in mind that mejibray never made it to a major label contract so they're literally nobodies scoring whatever left-overs of the indie jpop production they can afford)
