So, idk if anyone has ever heard of this type of rumour before, but last year in my work as a call center agent I had a couple of friends who were also somewhat into vkei. One of them told me about Mana and Kanon Wakeshima being an amazing duo of mentor and apprentice and how successful they are.

 

He told me that Kanon was such a talented person and that all of that talent may have been inherited. Idk where he got his sources, but he told me that in the sites he goes to there are/were rumors circling about that Kanon is actually Mana's daughter. I tried to search it up and even in Tanuki I tried to see if Kanon's name would show up but nada. So I was wondering if anyone else has heard of this rumor or was my friend just fucking around with me on this one.

 

Also, total respect to Mana and Kanon's privacy for this but, I am curious if there has been talk about this before.

I guess what I can offer here is the anime or well, almost to become an anime Hypnosis Mic lol They have this character called 14th Moon who's the vocalist of a visual kei band 

 

But tbh, when I heard his voice and the song he made it didn't feel vkei enough for me lol buuuutttt tbh, the way they portrayed his personality lol it almost feels vkei bwuahahaha

Altho a majority of Filipinos did vote for him because when he was the Senator of a specific city, it was one of the best cities in the whole country. Clean, safe, and almost next to no poor people/peeps living off the streets. Corrupt leaders went to almost 0 in Davao city (it's the city where Gackt has a house in so, tbh if I love it lol) I even remember before when Duterte won, Gackt made a video of full support for him, dude literally said he was happy and glad the Philippines has a great leader now wild

 

But tbh, I didn't know he would go to such extreme lengths to get rid of rioters and such. Idk if we should've expected this since he was a soldier before gosh

 

But all in all, the health workers here are somewhat being given good attention so that's a good news. A good portion of people keep donating PPE and a lot of citizens had gone out of their way to give driving services to front liners since public transportations had been banned already.

 

In a way, at least there's still some good things happening in my country. Idk about the others tho, all I keep reading from other countries are bad news and it's sad ;w;

Nice to meet cha! I came here in MH to get back into the fandom lol had a somewhat Kpop phase myself as well, Super Junior was my jam before lol but never really got into them much. I have a younger sister who's like a huge fan of kpop hence why I'm pretty updated to it 

 

I relate to you when it comes to A9 and Gazette! They're def one of the bands here that are still going strong after so many years.

 

I would recommend bands but, the new ones that I listen to just recently disbanded as well ;w; but I do hear from a lot of people that Kizu, xaaxaa, and codomo dragon are the good ones in this era. Oh and also Jiluka, they're a pretty good one too.

Talking about the state of the virus in Japan, during lessons I would ask my Japanese students about their opinions of the virus. A good portion of them are saying like "meh, it's inevitable, still gotta go to work since it's not that serious." Legit have a student that has a high rank in his job but continues to go to to work like yooooo they don't take this that seriously lol

 

But then again, those are just a majority of my students, there are some who are scared still. But tbh, mostly they just told me how much of an inconvenience the virus is for them.

 

Idk if it's right to say this but tbh, I feel as tho in a way, even tho the Japanese government is so undecided when it comes to quarantine, the people there  are handling the hygiene thing pretty well. My opinion only guys lol that's just the impression I get from my students.

 

On another news tho, here in my country because of the quarantine people are legit starving to death now. The other day people started to riot out in the streets because they no longer have the money to buy food. The next day our president said it's not his problem if those people starving can't find a way to feed themselves and he literally gave the OK to the police to shoot the hungry people who are rioting wtf senators also gave statements saying if you're hungry, don't become violent and find a peaceful solution like wtf

 

My country's in a nutshell y'all, the government here is SHIT even worse quarantine got extended to April 30 ugh altho we all think it might get extended till July, hopefully it'll just end soon.

Oh!! A beauty and fashion thread!! Two things I love ❤️

 

FASHION:

For fashion, I have a few clothes that blend in with society when I'm lazy lol but I mostly have lolita inspired dresses and some punk-rock clothes. Over the years, my skin has gotten more and more sensitive so I have to really picky the type of fabrics carefully. I can only wear cotton, polyester, silk, and such. Any fabric that's too rough will give me rashes lol so basically, lolita and smooth clothings are more on my style. (not much black nowadays too cuz the heat in the Philippines will kill you.)

 

Also, I go shopping in thrift stores here as well, a lot of good clothes there XD Apparently, some VK inspired clothes get stuck around in thrift stores here in my country so score for me guys. 

 

SKIN/FACE:

Imma be the first to admit that I was born with a pretty nice complexion lol but, still sensitive and dry skin so I need to be careful with my products as well but any hows, I think some of my routines would be good to share as well just in case there are other peeps here who have sensitive skin like mine ouo

 

PS: I don't have pale skin, I have morena/brown skin so like yeah, I can't give tips on whitening products, but right now I do hear from my friends here in the Philippines about this like really popular skin whitening product called Dr. Alver. My friends use it and they have like those pale white complexions that Kpop stars have so like yeah.

 

Skin care routine:

 

Tony Moly's Black Tea Facewash 

I swear to hell this facewash is GODLY. It really makes my skin so smooth and brightens it up. I had my younger brother use it too and now he has lesser pimples tbh and his face is smoother now too. It's also great at removing make-up.

 

 NuSkin NaPCA Moisture Mist 

This moisturizer I absolutely LOVE. You just spray it onto your face and voila! You're good to go. It dries up easily on your face that you don't feel like you're walking around with a wet face that just got out of shower and you were too busy rushing to properly dry your face with a towel. Or feel oily or smth. It's really good for dry skin tbh

 

Tony Moly Naturalth Goat Milk Moisture Emulsion

My second favourite moisturizer would have to be this one, in case I don't have the NuSkin moisturizer. Tony Moly products are GOOD AF but with this one, as much as I love it, it tends to take too long to dry up or smth. Maybe because it's cream based but still, very good for your skin. 

 

Bentonite Clay Mask 

This shit I use like at least once or twice a month and lemme tell ya'll. My blackheads have lessened. It's not really the best tho, I'd prob try to find a better one once I stop being lazy of finding a better clay mask lol but it makes my skin extra smoother and shit so a 4/5 recommendation lol

 

For body lotion I just use Jergens Ultra Healing, it's really good and really repaired my skin cuz ya know, the heat here in the Philippines is a MENACE. 

 

MAKE-UP:

PS: most of the products I use are cruelty free and such so yeah lol, just getting that out in case someone is conscious about that like me

 

Foundation: HYPOAllergenic Aqua Jelly Make-up

This is THE BEST foundation ever (in my opinion lol) since as I've said earlier sensitive skin. One of the perks of this since the brand was like made by dermatologists or some shit like that, it actually helps heal your skin and all that shit when you use it??? Idk how but it does. It's good at hiding blemishes and imperfections, doesn't feel heavy on the face and best of all, it actually helps a little with pimples lol 

 

Powder: L.A. Girl Pro Face Matte Pressed Powder

This is by far, the only brand I know that I can use where my skin doesn't get any bumps. Like ya know, your face looks like it was bitten by an ant or bee or smth when you use certain brands? Well, this one is the only one I trust when it comes to powder lol

 

Eye-shadow: Too-faced, Jazzy, BYS, and Tony Moly

I don't use eye-shadow much and have only recently started exploring on this. These three so far are my best pick for eye shadow and their colors are great! Especially if you love make-up that sparkles/glitters cuz they have so many options like that ouo

Tony Moly has good eyeshadows and eyeliners

BYS I recommend their blush as well

 

 

HAIR:

I actually have no comments for hair cuz, I usually get mine done in salons lol
