  3. Usually, when I think of Kagrra, I think about their beautiful musical composition and Shin's amazing koto solos, which deserve great praise. However, I also love the guitar solos in their songs. Songs that pop into mind are Shizuku and Boukyaku no Hate no Kogoeta Kodoku. It may not be the most technically amazing or innovative. But, for me, the solos in both songs are evocative and touched the soul. In a way, I felt it perfectly expressed the meaning of Isshi's lyrics.

Kagrra, - Shizuku (Apologies for the low quality! The solo begins around 3:42.)

    Spoiler

Kagrra, - Boukyaku no Hate no Kogoeta Kodoku (Once again, apologies for the low quality! But it's emotionally wonderful to hear live. Solo begins around 2:36.)

And I also have to add this song by SCREW. When I first saw the topic, I thought of this song, Wailing Wall. Another "dark edgy" band,  but it's one of my favorite songs by them and I enjoyed the guitar solo in it. It starts out by repeating the catchy main theme at first, and then transitions into a quieter interlude with a couple of notes being softly played. Afterward, the second phase of the solo breaks out its fast-paced notes with a subtle shrieking sound at the end. It's not ground-breaking, but I love  its 'wailing' sound, which I think fits the song title, lol.

SCREW - Wailing Wall (Guitar solo starts around 1:50)

  4. I know about Buck-Tick's song, "Dress", but not the one mentioned above. I need to check out more of their other songs xD

Ayabie - Japanese Low-Res Caramel Town

Aicle. - Cとソプラノ (C to soprano)

    SuG - Extreme fall

    JACK+MW - IX LOST

    the GazettE - Clever Monkey

BLOOD STAIN CHILD - Unlimited Alchemist

    exist†trace - ROUGE

    SINCREA - PANDORA 21

    Stereopony - Tsukiakari no Michishirube

    Verxina - 妄執 (Moushu)

Um, well, this is a hard choice ;w; Decided to go with Ayabie on this since it's one of my favorite songs by them.

  5. People have already mentioned these bands, but interested in Verxina, Kizu, and DIMLIM. Looking forward in seeing how all these young bands develop their music. I was also just listening to GRIMOIRE’s newest mini-album (had not listened to their previous releases before), and I’m digging the cutesy, storybook-like sound. Their cover art album is beautiful and perfectly fits their theme. Definitely going to keep my eye on them as well now.

I’m also looking forward to Khryst and the Thirteen, so I’ll be waiting to hear their future releases. (I’m biased since it has members from hiatus/disbanded bands that I like, lol.)

I read several reviews and such by men who are mad that you couldn't date Yusuke lmao. But yessss, I'm stuck right now in Futaba's castle but I love the game so far.

Oh, I loved Futaba's palace! The atmosphere of her palace is mixed together with an ancient Egyptian and modern technology theme, but it is done so well. (Apparently, the QR codes in the palace lead to some secret P5 shop. Not sure if it still works, lol.)

I actually love Persona5! I want to date everyone hahah (Including Yusuke, he is my best boyfriend. He just doesn't know it.)

I've played other Tales of Games before (Graces is my favorite), so I'm excited to play Vesperia, since I never had the system for it when it first came out.

I was reading online comments that the developers (Atlus) should have made Yusuke a dateable character in the game XD

Anyways, Persona 5 is a really great game! Love the updated improvements they made for it. And the art is fabulous.

Thanks soooo much for all the tips. I'm sorry I didn't reply sooner. January is a super busy month for me!

I added a bunch of the places you suggested to my trip itinerary, especially for Osaka and Nagoya.

I'm super excited because we just scored tickets to see a few shows. Sukekiyo, Dadaroma, and Komodo Dragon!

I'm so stoked to go on this trip. About the only thing I still need to figure out is the best way to convert dollars to yen when we're in Japan.

    Thanks again!

No problem! Glad I could help out :D That's awesome you'll be going to those VK lives. They're a ton of fun! (If you need any help for attending VK lives, there's a thread which discusses that topic... https://www.monochrome-heaven.com/topic/49345-bangya-hacks-advice-for-attending-vk-lives/) Hope your trip will be exciting! Would love to hear about it when you return :)

As for converting dollars to yen in Japan, I usually converted some money to yen before I went and, while in Japan, mainly relied on ATM machines, which I found are pretty safe (in my experience). I found some articles talking about the topic: https://matcha-jp.com/en/6692 and http://www.travel-kyoto-maiko.com/traveltips/your-complete-guide-to-use-atms-in-japan/ (the latter link is promoting their company's tours, but I find it quite helpful for the issue ^-^) Hope this helps!
