Mine is a large page of cats, right now there are 5, but 3 are feral and I can only feed them...but they more or less don't leave this area or the things we've built for them to sleep in. The one making all the weird faces is essentially my child (Kiki) and I have raised her from barely 2 weeks old. She showed up in the pasture almost at the dead of night, and if I hadn't heard her mewing who knows what would've happened, I feel very lucky to have good hearing, no one else heard her through the walls. She would follow me around as if I was a parent cat, only 1 foot away at any time, and sleep on my shoulder. I really got no sleep for 4 months just like a real parent lol, she would cry all night if she couldn't be on or near me. (The problem was where I was staying had an annoying and poorly trained dog and I couldn't risk it.)
Now she's bananas just like me though, and we chase each other around, as I grew up with over 13 cats I can't help feeling a little part cat my whole life lol, I love them more than anything (legitimately) and I seem to have always been able to make friends with every single one I meet.
The fat fluffy one was rescued from the middle of the highway as a kitten, I more or less raised her too but she had a much less dependent personality, she's still weird though and likes to '''hide''' in fake plants. She'll also scream at me if I don't give her meat and sometimes sit next to me while I eat and grab my hand lol.
Aside from them a number of years back I lost my near lifelong cat and his brother, they were both pure white with heterochromia, wasn't a good time for me...but it was lucky I found Kiki shortly before, definitely helped me deal with such a big part of my life gone.


I also have a four year old flame knee tarantula, it was smaller than the size of a water bottle cap when I got it. Now maybe a bit bigger than a mandarin.

I definitely agree that Batsu's vocals would benefit from some tecnique, but I think that the fact that he isn't a "good" singer fits their style. They have this sort of punk, i-don't-give-a-f type of attitude and his vocal style embodies that. I usually prefer more technical singers for sure, but I really don't mind it for the type of band Mamireta is.
 
I dig the song, I think that calling it an "Ojamashimasu" with better production is the perfect description. Looking forward to hearing the rest of the album.

Yeah for me if I want to listen to something profound or whatever, surely I won't find it here lol, but I still love them (except those handful of radio sounding songs.) They are perfect for what I listen to chaotic music for, but they only fill that specific niche like Igorrr. I only listen to お邪魔します casually outside of physical activity or art time.
Sometimes you gotta enjoy the Face/Off's of music...I say this not really being able to listen to pop music at all, and everyone has their own taste, but you get what I mean maybe. 😺

I really like Mamireta but I also think that their music isn't high quality or particularly interesting.  Their compositions are very simple, Batsu isn't the greatest singer, I think a lot of their songs follow the same format and end up sounding like nothing new.  People have the right to dislike them or complain about their newer releases.  But at the same time I think their music is fun and energetic so I keep enjoying it, and it doesn't seem like they have any deeper reasons for being a band anyway so I don't mind anything they do

the song itself sounds alright but good god that PV is so goddamn ugly its giving √eight's 'we literally filmed this in our garage' PVs a run for their money, I get being low budget and all that but this is like middle school garage band-tier

I wanted to make my own mask but the materials didn't fit the budget. So I started with this latex mask, it was pretty deformed and had a shit paint job.
 
So I stuffed and melted it, fixed it to a foam head, then hand painted with watercolor and copic mix, some acrylic.
Aside from the mask I had a plain black sheet, and then bought white skeleton gloves. Painted those red and gold with fabric paints, tattered the robe and hand laid at least 40 feathers and lace strings with a net backing. Same for the neck feathers I cut by hand and laid all of them. Also cut wig thatches and laid the hair although you can't see it hardly in any of the pictures. I also sculpted the horns, painted them etc.
Finished project when it was fresh: (cause it's 4 years old now and kinda faded...and I ran into trees since then lol.)
It was my first time trying to put something together from a drawing on a 100$ budget so I am happy with it. Only downside is the head weighs around 15lbs and has to be balanced pretty precariously, so your neck is fucked after a couple hours.

At least for me, it was a huge mistake criticizing so much this band. Their debut album is a masterpiece,not bcuz all the tracks were perfect,but for their insane potential for music.

My look for our local Dark Valentines Ball / Goth Thing last Saturday. 
 

I went to the live on Monday and had a lot of fun despite that it was their first live so everyone didn't know what to do for furi. lol
All of the songs they played were pretty much kuroyuri 2.0. Wasn't a fan of the ballad they did but the other six songs were good, especially the sixth one (the one in the Twitter preview) and the last one they played which featured moshing and gyakudai. 
 
I thought it was cute how Mei took time at the beginning of their set to introduce the members and gave everyone some time to speak. You could see how close they all are.
They joked around a lot, too. I like that they're not taking themselves too seriously as they are a session band.

According to an acquaintance of mine who attended she said it seems very likely they will become a full fledged band eventually. Them playing all original and new songs also strengthen this. Hopefully they'll announce it soon enough.
 







 

Kyo's Values of Madness esque rapping over this industrial metal riff definitely gave the song certain kind, alt-metalness that I don't really want to have in my Sukekiyo. Still, just the way it develops and the last third of the song is just so intense. The level where this album will be at however is going to determined when its stacked up against the longer songs from ADORATIO that were, imo, 2010's vk master class. 

I've submitted a redelivery request three times with my post office and they keep not delivering my package and then saying they did. I've been home all three times they've tried to deliver it and not once did they knock on my door. So I'm like just give me my vkei, already!

I'm a 27 year old American Otaku (Anime fan for you gaijins). I draw Anime and Manga on my tablet, and spend my days perfecting my art and playing superior Japanese games. (Disgaea, Final Fantasy, Persona series)

I train with my Katana every day, this superior weapon can cut clean through steel because it is folded over a thousand times, and is vastly superior to any other weapon on earth. I earned my sword license two years ago, and I have been getting better every day.

I speak Japanese fluently, both Kanji and the Osaka dialect, and I write fluently as well. I know everything about Japanese history and their bushido code, which I follow 100%

When I get my Japanese visa, I am moving to Tokyo to attend a prestigious High School to learn more about their magnificent culture. I hope I can become an animator for Studio Ghibli or a game designer!

I own several kimonos, which I wear around town. I want to get used to wearing them before I move to Japan, so I can fit in easier. I bow to my elders and seniors and speak Japanese as often as I can, but rarely does anyone manage to respond.

getting back to VK really pushed me to be more theatrical outside my art again, it's funny all I want to do is perform but I have the 'no mouth & must scream' art ability instead lol... Growing out my hair is going well, oddly i feel more confident. I think I will grow it all the way and maybe one day do some sort of real vk inspired look, but right now it's at too awkward a phase (also no, no eyelashes i have trich)
