バレッタ is one of the least discussed NIL tracks for some reason, and I think its one of the best ones! That and Nausea and Shudder. N&S was the song that really "got" me into the band.

Nope, I miss it too! As much as I love 毒廻る, I think it would have benefitted from a more raw production quality. I actually hate how they've been producing their music the past several years. This over-polished production goes back to アイアムメンヘラ, and I don't see it changing anytime soon. :/

i liked zange,but most of their late stuff sounds too polished for my taste

This mini is good,but it would be so much better without any synth.
Yoshiatsu's death vocals are so nasty, wished  they could suddenly change their name to oboreru sakana and become a pure deathcore band lol

that's what odd to me... I've seen nothing from Dispina - no new announcements, nothing from the members, ...it's just very odd to me that they're being quiet about what's been going on, even after revealing themselves. Even the jrock news outlets aren't really mentioning any connections between the two, or added any exclusive information.

yup, they are for sure DISPINA - today when i took a closer look at their group shot i noticed the tattoo on the neck of the guy on the far right which is exactly the same as DISPINA's bassist tomo.
 
also because no one mentioned it yet they'll have a free live on 2018.04.04 at 東京:目黒鹿鳴館 (tokyo: meguro rokumeikan) where
their live distributed single [死垂桜ノ木ノ下デ。] will be released

And I vaguely remember reading an interview where AOI (or maybe URUHA) mentioned wasting a lot of money on some expensive guitar, and I'm just like "BITCH! What's the point of getting a different guitar if production sounds like garbage? You could have spent that money to hire a producer/mastering-engineer/mixing-engineer/all-of-the-above who actually knows what the fuck they're doing!!"

Jesus, I felt like the only person that remembers that song. I rock that shit regularly. 
 
Because Traces Vol 2 was a quick cash grab, so they just let Uruha or whoever sit behind the mixing board and pretend they knew what they were doing. I still want confirmation that Kai actually played on those re-recordings. 

Deux is a perfect Gazette song in my opinion

I wouldn't blame Ray's voice for DESTINATION since it's actually the only song written by Daiki, even the lyrics. Everything else is Seiya or Seiya and Keisuke. I actually really like Ray's vocals, though, when he's singing Japanese. He sounds uncomfortable with the pronunciation in English, but he sounds amazing in Return of the Curse.
