Ozileras10 reacted to kiixx in Hello :)
Hello, My name is Kristy
Ive always found my latest goss to Vkei music through Visualioner and Youtube.
Recently a friend of mine uses this forum and she recommend me to come here and join the monochrome heaven family.
I remember the the first two bands that brought me to Vkei were Alice nine and An Cafe.
I've been listening to Vkei since 2005 and stuck with it ever since.
My favourite bands are Gazette,Sadie and Nocturnal bloodlust.
Currently listening to Jiluka, Rides in Revellion, Dexcore, Fixer, Razor,Royz and Dadaroma.
Lovely to meet you all

Ozileras10 reacted to crossparallel in sukekiyo
Don't know if this has been discussed in another thread, but I watched yesterday's nico live and suddenly remembered the talks of Kyo spicing things up with some synths or even a theremin from a few pages back and lo and behold (after the 30 minute mark, theremin after 33).
Prophetic much? Predict somethin nice for me too.

Ozileras10 reacted to Manji 卍 in DIMLIM
The whole new single is a great step up for these guys. My favorite song is innocent passion, because Sho clean singing is absolutely hypnotic, also his screams, this guy is a beast!! Can't explain why but this band placed the empty space that MEJIBRAY left in my conscience, cuz their atmosphere and Sho vocals are so similar to Tsuzuku skills, imo. Fucking good band

I hadn't seen the music video for the title track yet when I made this... where's the rest of the band (the guitarists are still in the band right???)

Ozileras10 reacted to koutetsuhime in Old fan returning after some years!
Hey everyone. I'm koutetsuhime, or kou for short. I've also gone by awakenthesadist/medicalshower in the past on LJ and batsu (ohh boy blast from the past). I also ran a few communities over on Livejournal, so if you recognise me from there or batsu, heeey. It's really quite strange to come back to a fandom you used to know so well and feel so lost, so I thought I'd join this community and try to get settled back in.
So apparently I made this account way back in 2012 and never introduced myself, oops. Seems like a little while after Versailles went on hiatus, I kinda lost interest in VK, and now I'm trying to return to being somewhat involved in the VK fandom. I got super into the metal fandom for a while there, even doing concert photography and shit, but I was getting a little bored of it and somehow ended up coming back to VK. Embarrasingly enough, I think it was that terrible Finebros 'people react to VK' vid that sparked my interest again. Of all things.
I don't have many newer bands I like, but I've been obsessing over DADAROMA like crazy! And that last lynch. release was pretty awesome. (I'm totally open to band suggestions.) I'll forever continue to love Aikaryu, but I also still quite enjoy Phantasmagoria, Unsraw, Deluhi, older Versailles, really old Dir en grey, and some others. I also listen to various metal bands, BAND-MAID, aaaand... Babymetal. I really need to get back into my listening game, honestly.
A bit rambly, but yeah, that's me.

I agree, i think they are way better than their older ones. CODA is the best outro they have ever done

Ozileras10 reacted to NightFall in SE Discussion
I definitely think they've improved a lot, but I think the style of SEs have changed as well. They used to kinda just be snippets of cool little beats at the start and end of an album, but since DIM they seem to be trying to make SEs that fit with some sort of theme with the album. I think DIM was an earnest attempt, but I agree that they feel pretty lacklustre now - especially compared to the recent albums' SEs. I also think the songwriting on DIM is really high level, and the SEs thus feel sorta slapped together at the last minute.

Ozileras10 reacted to Nagisa in SE Discussion
Anyone think that the recent GazettE SEs have improved? In particular, I think they have gotten better at getting them to either flow into the next track or continue from the previous track. Maybe they weren't trying to do that in earlier albums, but I noticed that in BEAUTIFUL DEFORMITY, both the intro and outro had pretty seamless transitions, and it seemed to be the same with DOGMA's intro. I also think the more recent SEs sound better but that's just my opinion. For example, even though DIM is my favorite album, I thought most of the SEs on it were pretty lackluster compared to, say, CODA (not really a fair comparison, I know).
