Tanishi got a reaction from Manabu in Best J-rock Albums 2010 - 2020!!!
Develop One's Faculties - Reincarnation
- sounded fresher than anything else vk at the time and still sounds fresh today.
DEG - Dum Spiro Spero
- not as good as Uroboros but the highs of this album (about half of it) are great.
DIAURA - Incomplete
- has most their best songs and Yo-ka's vocals sound super smooth. Cool mixture of old school and new school sound.
Dimlim - Chedoara
- the pv tracks are still the best but it's all good.
gibkiy gibkiy gibkiy - Fujouri Shugeki and In incontinence
- experienced old man musicians at the top of their game. Hard to pick one out of these two albums.
IX NINE - NIRDVANDVA
- mainly the first disc. Nice blend of metal, electronic, and sadboi atmospheric stuff.
The Gallo - Diavolo and Lucifero
- the vibration of Jojo's vocals is really addictive to listen to and the music is really catchy but never gets old. I blasted these two albums everyday for ages.
Tokusatsu - 5 Nengo no Sekai
- Ootsuki Kenji at his best. Has the Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei openings and a bunch of other really great songs.
Wowaka - Unhappy Refrain
- mathy vocaloid rock. RIP.
Special Mention:
- llll ligro - Tomurai: the 17 minutes of this that got released before it died was super good. RIP.
Honorable mentions:
- AINS stuff (Grieva, Kuroyuri to Kage, Gossip, Diaura): nearly everything off this label up to 2018 was really good.
- D.I.D - Providentia
- Kiryu - Mugen Hoyou and Shuka Ensen
- The god and death star's stuff

Tanishi reacted to platy in DIMLIM
People in the thread don't hate dimlim, we want them to succeed because they showed some of the strongest potential we'd seen around in a stale scene.
People are salty because dimlim are shooting themselves in the foot and fucking up what could've been fantastic for fans, the band and vk.

Tanishi reacted to zerozeroninex in DIMLIM
I don't think anyone here is aware, DIMLIM was 2nd place in the band division of a competition by Tunecore Japan and sponsored by PayNoah with Tom Smith of JPU records as one of the guest judges. From my understanding, the prize is the sponsor will pay some of the fee's and gives a right to the band to perform in a venue in the UK, the grand winner though gets an all expense paid live performance in the UK that will be awarded hopefully next year.

From JPU's site

So how is it a downward spiral when the band is getting positive attention outside Japan? MISC is a great album and they finally shed their D.I.D and Diru clone tag and Sho stopped trying to be Kyo 2.0.
Retsu leaving Dimlim equals to the band disbanding and a high possibility Sho retires from music. Reading their JaMe interview everyone is into the new music of MISC and I think Sho even had a hand in giving Retsu songwriting ideas and Hiroshi,I read somewhere wanted to sound like new Dezert and he got his wish somewhat. But from that interview, growls and breakdowns will one day comeback if they feel it's time to bring it back.

Tanishi reacted to Furik in DIMLIM
It's hard to tell.
Their OHP is like... dead or not working but their last Twitter post was in August.
Their official merch site is still up and running.
They're supposedly doing two shows in Shibuya in January.
As much as this band gets shitted on, I really hope they continue to be active. Unpopular opinion but I really enjoyed MISC.

Tanishi got a reaction from Ricorda in Remakes/Re-recordings: Do ya like em?
It annoys me when bands re-record songs for an album and they end up worse than the originals. I don't mind if they're put as B-sides on a single or on a separate release and I like the rare times when a re-recording is better than the original.
The first example that comes to mind is DIAURA's Incomplete best of. Yo-ka grew heaps as a vocalist and I like all the remakes on it better than the originals.
MUCC's 2017 remake albums are good too, Gallo's Lucifero, Lar~Mia's S/T, and The God and Death Star's After the Addle Apple come to mind as well
