Seven years after leaving AvelCain, Kasumi has written a sort of exposé of his time in the band, notably the moment when he wanted to leave the band due to his illness, but was ultimately turned away by management. 
 
Quick summary as I cannot provide a full accurate translation:
Kasumi valued his time in AvelCain, but due to suffering from facial paralysis and alopecia areata (bald spots) at the time, he was unable to continue and he requested that he leave the band. The president of Shimizuya Records turned him away, allegedly stating that they "didn't care for his story". Kasumi considered suicide as an only way out of the band, and he even tried jumping off of a 4 story condo (as he lived in a rural area) but fortunately came out unscathed. He has since recovered from his conditions (although he still suffers from paralysis when he gets tired) but he still suffers from depression as a result from his experience from being in the band, which included being naked in front of female staff, being beaten in front of his members, and even licking the nipples of a senior bandman. Despite all that, he still respects the band members, the label, and the bangya who have supported them.

He has also posted additional tweets on his Twitter account about not being paid for songs he composed, band merch, or several fees he's paid out of pocket (transportation, costumes, recording, shooting) even after he had left the band. Overall, he states that this is a warning to young bandmen and hopes that this behavior still isn't going on today.

This is a strange way of looking at it. I don't think anybody would criticise him if he'd simply told them "I've decided there are other things in life I want to pursue, so I'm leaving the band as of x-date", but completely ghosting your friends/colleagues/bandmates/whatever without warning is just scummy regardless of the reason (unless you literally died or became incapacitated somehow).

I just assume you can't take pictures at lives every time. That was you don't get in trouble, unless you're explicitly told photos are okay. Sounds like a real petty reason to dislike a band.

Is he new to the scene ? Cause taking pictures is usually never allowed during live shows.

Because there was no announce about photograph, I took some pictures to show you.
Right after that, the tiny hobbit vocalist yelled at me saying “don’t shoot, obey the rule!!”
I was so turned down and couldn’t enjoy any songs.
 
I got pissed and talked to staff if there was any announcement about photos and they said no and it depends on the band.
 
I got a good idea. I sent my words directly to the vocalist through Twitter.
How could I know the rule I never heard.
So frustrated.
 
I said they should've announced beforehand if it's prohibited and you totally ruined my opportunity to have fun. I greatly lost my time and money. 
 
I would never listen to them.
 
I wish I could just laugh it away, but the way I was told was so rude without plite words and that is I can't stand with.

Oh, I just came up with two idea why the vocalist had to stop me.
He was afraid that I would post it on Twitter and that could damage and cancel their final tour. He is the cause of disbanding, so he didn't cause any more trouble to other members.
Also, he didn't want anyone to see how they couldn't gather enough audiences because it's Kakkowarui.
 
They have to suffer something in return. For that I don't need my direct revenge.

Man, the world is just so fucking weird. About 6-7 years ago I used to take the night bus home drunk and kept meeting the same guy, a "thrasher" who had similar taste to me, and we always talked about music, girls and whatever. And we usually joked about starting a thrash metal band together, inspired by Municipal Waste, Toxic Holocaust etc. But just as a joke of course. Over the past 3 months or, me and a very good friend, have had some of my good friend's friends play stuff for us as neither of us play any instruments (I've written the songs, but I can't play any instruments so we need session musicians). I know the drummer and bassist from before, but the guitarist, who is a friend of my friend, is someone I did not know who was. I do know his band and all, but not who he was. I did however meet the guitarist for the first time yesterday as we were filming some promo stuff and god damn it, it was the guy from 6+ years ago. And now he's playing with my band, playing thrash metal inspired by Municipal Waste, Toxic Holocaust etc. It's so fucking random and weird. How the hell? Hahaha! But fun of course. Always seemed like a really nice and cool guy, so that's a huge plus.
