Elazmus 1873 Posted July 15, 2015 I love DADAROMA. I was a Since1889 fan back in the day and was always entertained and impressed by CrazyShampoo. I like their apparent range of interest and style so far. They have a strong presence and obviously a killer frontman in Yoshi. Their title tracks so far have been energetic, melodic deathcore featuring good ex-NAINE instrumentation. They've been successful, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to hear more simplistic alt. metal tracks like MONEY and Sex! as well as the delicious trash-jazziness of the Morphine(s) Honestly guys keep writing songs about Morphine, it always seems to go well. Sakurai-san 50 Posted August 2, 2015 I founded them promising from the beginning! When I heard about Yoshiatsu's past band (crazy shampoo) I took a look to them and they didn't impressed me so I'm very happy he started a more powerful/metal project! I have to say that I really love oboreru sakana and the second pv,even it's so good, didn't impressed me as the first. Anyway I really like they're trying to create different songs as much as they can and it's very good that they didn't stop only on one genre which in long time can tire someone (but not me hahah). My favorite member is Tomo (together with Yoshiatsu I guess) and I don't know why.. I only know that I like his presence,he's funny for what I could see from the short comments on youtube.. For Yoshiatsu I really like his particular voice! His melodic voice is so cool and different from others, and I like his screaming even more! I guess it's not you that choose the member..is the member that choose you ~. My favorite songs for now are: 「溺れる魚」: I totally fell in love with that song! It's so energetic and every seconds are different from the previous! It's not just a song like "stanza+ refrain+ stanza". It's a mini metal/rocking good "opera" (operetta,maybe lul). The way Yoshiatsu uses his voice combined with melodic and screamo, following the changing restless music make the song one of the best of this release's period. MONEY: Not much to say, one of that super core songs that are so powerful that blows your brain! Totally addicting! 愁いリビドー: aaaah, that's my favorite of the last single! The combination of something that remind to a ballad and the rocking element it's just to awesome also thanks to Yoshiatsu "funny" way to sing! Amazing and addicting refrain ~! Some parts remind me of the style used by KAMIJO for Moulin rouge ..and that's so good ! In conclusion, long live to these guys, hoping they will become very famous,they deserve it ~! Elazmus 1873 Posted September 12, 2015 Couldn't agree more, Apathy Human is a certifiable knockout. I think DADAROMA has quite memorable songs because they are structured a bit differently than other bands, once they reach the first chorus they tend to jump to a short interlude before going right into the second one. As opposed to verse-chorus-verse-chorus-interlude or what have you. In some songs I think it stunts them a bit, Ame no Waltz would have done well to go back to the harsh vocal section it opened with. I really love previous two モルヒネ songs so I was really looking forward to the third one and... it just didn't live up to my expectations. KURT sounds like a generic ballad song that got rehashed by DDRM (even though that's what they've been doing all the time and it kinda works so far it seems) and ハイアンドロー didn't manage to get my attention. On the other hand, being a sucker for their jazzy stuff, I fell in love with Ars amatoria from the very beginning. This was just my first impression, I am sure some of the songs will grow on me after some time, same as it did with 雨のワルツ. But compared to dadaism#1, in which I loved every single song...
