VK does it to me from behind. And I like it.
And how do you propose to measure sincerity?
I find it unnerving that if you're in a 90s vk band that happened to be making dreadful music you could still gloriously play this "sincerity" or "passion" card; but if you're doing well in today's vk scene suddenly it's all because you have great bells and whistles + good at being a shameless sellout because, alas, you've arrived 10 years late and the ethereal spirit of vk no longer permeates your soul.
Thank you @hiroki for writing down my exact thoughts. There's no doubt that some artists and bands in the scene are in it for other reasons than just the pure passion in music. But just because a band has been formed after 2010, doesn't instantly mean they are plastic sellouts only in it for the glory and fame.

RULES FOR SUBMISSIONS 1. MH Valentines is about telling other members anonymously nice things about them.
2. All kinds of profanities are extremely prohibited and such submissions won't be published.
3. Maximum size for your submissions is 640x640.
4. The submissions must be in picture format (.png, .jpg, .jpeg, etc) and hosted to another site (tinypic, imgur, etc).
5. All text must be in English.
6. You CAN use pictures posted in Show Yourselves -thread for the submissions.
7. You CAN'T use pictures posted private Facebook pages, etc.

The number 1 thing in visual kei that pisses me off is how expensive everything is, and I'm not even talking about the insane shipping costs I have to pay too.
It also pisses me off that Japan is so far away. I would like to participate the vk scene, go to concerts more often etc but it just isn't possible.
