Finally bought a keyboard "Cooler Master CM Storm Quickfire Tk," my first mechanical keyboard, and a back up hard drive cuz I don't trust my current laptop to last another year or 2.
-
Interesting, I have not seen where that is said so. Did you read the fine print or something? So is the $60 including or not including the shipping cost?

Dont you pay extra handling/custom fees when you use FedEx overnight delivery thing? I tried it twice, the first one just to test it and I got hit with some fee like $20. Then I tried again just incase that fee thing was a fluke since ems never does it but it wasnt and I got shit from my dad since he was the only home and he got to pay the $40 fee. It wasnt even for him so he was extra bitter lol. The fedex makes it seem cheaper on checkout but the extra fee upon delivery can be 20-30 dollars higher than using straight up ems.

Do you live in Quebec? it must be quebec that is weird as I can ems 10+ items without paying extra but I live in B.C.

Took them long enough, I always wanted these

There was an interview somewhere, I don't recall what blog exactly, around the time of Symphony of the Vampire where he states he wants to continue to keep creating characters and further evolve musically. Which kind of explains why it didn't seem like a big deal for him to put Versailles on hiatus. I don't expect him to do remakes or sound like he did in previous works at all.

Not enough profits! Plus I think most of his budget is spent on the outfits. It is only a single after all, I didn't have much expectations. But I think the upcoming album PV will be more glorious. If he can do Symphony of a Vampire and pull off a story visual. He should be able to outdo it since it will be an album next time around.

I don't tend to take usernames too seriously. I typically choose what has my feelings at the moment and run with it. I do themes with others if I can change it at will. I think I chose this one when Juka decided retirement. With some other sites and forums, I get annoyed when I can't use asian characters so I give up pick something basic.

if they didn't have the current vocals, it could sound almost decent

I dreamt about playing support bass for a band but kept on abandoning due to wanting to pee. For some reason, I took the 20 min walk home just to pee. I came back to the play just in time to perform for the main band but had to leave again after the first song. Went home again but this time I was fed dinner and moments after finishing my meal called in to get back asap. As I left my home, I was offered a ride to the play. However, as soon as I got on the ride, I had the urge to pee again. I held it in this time. When I got to the play, I was put to perform for a live hip-hop band. However after only one song, the bass guitar was taken away from me and given to some girl who proceeds play to well enough to astonish the crowd. I watched in amazement of how well she played and had the feeling I was being showed up but I couldn't keep my eyes off of her and wanted to hear her play some more. Then I woke up with a massive urge to pee

Being a teenager doesn't mean much in terms of not being able to buy products. Whatever you want will typically cost money. If you can't afford something then dont buy it. I didn't grew up rich or anything like that but that only thought me that whatever it is you want, you must work for it. In my case, I spent my spare time working after school and fulltime during the summer break. I could afford whatever I wanted within budget of course.

did they disband or something?

Your original post flowed smoothly for the most part IMO. I always had a hunch #4 was true. From a business standpoint, if there isn't any proof that there are fans elsewhere (or potential to grow more fans) then there isn't a point in touring/promoting elsewhere. CD sales, legal music downloads or even pre-ordered tickets in venues should be a good indication of demand.

Do an ABX test between AAC and 320 or any lossless format. The results for many tests like this typically results in failure to recognize a difference. The engineers knows this and all they had to do was compress audio files enough such that it wasn't a burden for memory space on portable players, which I believe was Apple's target audience with the iPod products. The AAC codec is supposed to be one of the more elegant and transparent sounding codecs around, down to 128 even. I don't buy iTunes audio files myself but quality is not the reason for not considering them for purchase.

Been playing 3-4 hours of dark souls 2 per day in the past week mostly for PVP reasons plus watching vids of people's experience with the PVP system. For people that don't know, original/real PVPers of the souls series tend to limit their soul level in a way to be creative in their builds and not just be an overpowered mess. Example: Wear heavy armor and use strong heavy weapons then you will be slow and susceptible to strikes if you miss in a swing. Be a spell caster and level your spellcasting abilities and you will lose out on defense and other areas such as health. and so on. The capping of level essentially creates a disadvantage on one area but not enough that you can't be good at something else. This makes using intelligent decisions (that fits your style of play) to be the overall factor if you want to win in a duel. The variety in builds to fight against as well as knowing that the "fight" isn't all that based on strengths of spells or weapons used is what made the PVP part of the souls series to be so long lasting. You can literally poke a guy to death with a stick and win a duel. Now the PC players are a complete face-palming mess. Everybody just levels up, wear heavy armor, spam 10 different spells, max out maneuverability, health and endurance to maximize the amount of swings possible with their ultragreatsword. On top of that, they have the nerve to bow to me like it was a fair fight -.- I am pretty sure many of them are new to the souls series and probably still have the notion "level up = good" but where is the fun if everybody has the same builds? From Software is partly to blame as leveling up is pretty much encouraged and competitive matchmaking is non-existent. They don't mind having a level 50 player fight against a level 250 as long as the level 50 player has accumulated enough souls (so instead of leveling up, I choose to cap myself to 50 and continue accumulating souls) to be in the same category as the 250 player whom has accumulated the same amount of souls. Here is a guy checking out PC players reaction to one of the more tedious bosses to defeat. Now this is a boss you will meet in the middle part of the story in which you should have mastered the mechanics of the game by then but that last guy though ... There is more to say but the rant must end.

I thought the Japanese people still had the mentality to not steal music otherwise bad karma. So it just come down to whether or not people like an artist's music enough to buy them and that is enough to keep the old way of marketing.

From what I read about HearJapan, it seems like a good service born out of passion than anything else. Unfortunately it is dead now from the looks of it, wish something similar is around though. It's a sad story for Xodiacks part. Selling just a handful 0.0 poor guys. After reading Nathan Reaven's letter, the VK market seems fucked up. IDK about you guys but if the music is available through iTunes, that is good enough of a solution for accessibility as long as iTunes doesn't over charge. But if it is affordable enough (say a dollar a song plus not buying instrumentals and intros/outros) you can save quite a bit and leave very little reason to not buy the songs. Unless you are like me and prefer having the source material over just a DL. I am still old school and love the look of stacks of recordings. I also like the extra bits such as DVDs, posters. That is a big point though. Those that don't have that kind of connections won't get the same opportunities to play here. Along with the rich friend, that example is too unfair for argument sake.

I don't want to seem insensitive but it would be interesting if Meto bounces back with a "car crash victim" concept.

I don't see the point of marriage. Can't 2 people just decide to be together without some "license" proclaiming they have someone special?
