Well im not single anymore

I planned on having a lovely Sunday lie in after a busy weekend, but no. I woke up after dreaming about the start of what could be my perfect relationship. I hate feeling blissful in a dream, waking up, and then realising you don't have that something. 
 
Recently I've been trying to prioritise myself (because I never do) but in the back of my head I've really wanted to find someone I can just devote myself to. It's in my nature to love I guess so being alone is starting to take its toll on me (almost 9 months of singledom now. Woooo loneliness baby!). 
 
I really want to connect with someone like they do in the movies where it's not all about sex and lust and marriage and kids and adulting. I just want to find someone I can spend all my time with, get to know with, cuddle up with, and just be lost in each other with (sorry, that's a really clumsy sentence but you know what I mean).
 
I guess I just miss the purity and innocence of my first forays into love, now that adult relationships are just a 'mess of sadness and phobias'. I think I've just felt lonely recently and my brain has tried to cheer me up by showing me what I want. Yet now I just feel down because it doesn't (and arguably can't) exist.

I'm finally back. Last night, I dreamt that I was sat around a table in the staff room of the place I do work experience at with the characters of Dragon Quest VIII (best DQ btw). Angelo announced to us all that he was sick of being a Templar knight and was going to become a minstrel. I cuddled up to him and told him I thought that was hot then we stood up and he hugged me back. We kind of stumbled onto all the staff members' bags and we kissed and I don't remember much after that but knowing Angelo, I'm sure what happened next was... interesting. Also, you know when something doesn't explicitly happen in a dream but you feel like it's true of that dream? It was never stated but I feel like I was dating the hero of DQ8 at the time so I was basically cheating on him right in front of him. Dream me is a homewrecking binch.

Last night, I dreamt that I was watching an episode of The Big Bazinga Theory and after every single line, the laugh track would play. The only exceptions were if the characters actually said something genuinely funny. That was rather satirical of my subconscious.

Three in a row. My subconscious brain's decided to be active, it seems.
 
So this one was really fucking bizarro, even for me. I was at a circus and Stephen Mulhern was the ringmaster. There was a Shih Tzu that was being forced to perform magic tricks seemingly against its will and most people were enthralled but I noticed it was very distressed. After the show, I criticised Stephen for using the dog and he became offended and threw a cream pie in my face. We then just kept pieing each other and I'm not quite sure who had the last laugh.

Couldn't possibly be worse than the band that opened the one time I saw them like 10 years ago. A few songs into their set, the guitars stopped working, and they couldn't fix it, so they just kept going. The singer said "Imagine this song with guitar!" 🤣

You clearly haven't listened to the UK opening acts

Im just amazed no kodou or the final in there. Its pretty much the entire TIW album with 3 extra songs.
 
I gave that opening band a listen BYSTS or something like that and fuck that is horrible. I thought The Birthday Massacre was the worst opener I've seen with them but these guys top that

If anyone's wondering about the merch for the US.

I know he's a dickhead, but he is legitimately a great musician and song-writer and as that was my favourite era of DIMLIM I consider that quite a big blow, I mean they have shown they can write good music without him, but they haven't really shown they can manage themselves since Issei left, and since NAZARE seem to be doing pretty well for themselves, so regardless of how much anyone likes/dislikes him, he puts in the work writing good music, gets shit done business wise and overall manages his band(s) much better. So ya know.....

Honestly, it took me like 2-3 years of listening to it on and off before I really began to appreciate the nuances between the songs. Before that, I thought all the songs sounded really bland and same-y.

Bit late to the party but INFJ. Everything finally makes sense but it also means I have a long road of self discovery, patience, and isolation ahead. WOO! 🎉 

Man, Shudder gave birth to VK for me... Before that, I was just a nasty, J-pop loving anime fan. It's not even an understatement that that song single-handedly changed the trajectory of my life hahaha.

Though the self titled has some of 12012’s worst tracks, I’d rather listen to that than the generic, milquetoast pop rock they farted out for a couple albums

I've never listened to the band before but I gave Xanadu a go and wow! There are a few duds but overall there are a ton of earworms for me, especially Ajna's intro/chorus and Last Faith's solo which have been playing non-stop in my head for the past few days now XD 
 
Speaking of which, I'm surprised at the lack of buzz for the latter with it being a new song and all. It dumps all over Elice In Slow Motion

Glad you enjoyed it! It really is a stellar release. The remixing and re-recordings sound outstanding and really improved many already great songs. 
 
Obliterator is really fun live, really. I’m glad you are liking it. 
 
And yes, Last Faith is better than Elice, I wonder why it didn’t get the PV.
