I’m feeling an odd sense of loneliness right now, I could cry profusely, but what good would it do? It wouldn’t. I feel broken, I feel like everything I’ve worked for in my life has always turned out to be in vain. I’m a pushover and I know it but there’s nothing I can do about it. What is the point in anything? Life is mundane, and everyone I grow to love hurts me deeply at some point and I feel like I’m sometimes taken for granted, I’m obviously not a saint, and I have hurt people myself...I don’t know what I’m saying anymore, I just wish things would get better for once.

Currently going through the same thing and it sucks *hugs*. I'm currently trying to live for myself; doing what I want, when I want. All within reason of course!

It's about trying to take control of your life and living on your terms instead of those of others. Being constantly let down by others sucks, so it's best to become self-sufficient in your happiness. That way when worthwhile people come along, you'll appreciate them so much :)

Wonderful documentary, I'm not a big fan of them shilling for a bag they made that's extremely expensive, but yeah. I got into minimalism through the book Goodbye Things by Fumio Sasaki that I'd highly recommend and I've since read The Minimalists books.

Oh really? Although I guess if the bag brings a lot of 'meaning' to people's lives, it's ok...? XD

Glad to hear your recommendation, I saw Goodbye Things and thought about buying it (digitally of course :p).

I'm struggling with Junji Ito's Uzumaki. I really need to read it, but I can't find the motivation and it's absolutely gigantic; I mean 3 volumes in book form, but it feel like a huge book.

But it's so good! :o Maybe try some of his shorter works first and build up? ^^

  4. Bit of a long shot but has anyone experienced bright white parts of shows on Netflix appearing as a glitchy yellowy/green? This seems to happen on both my phone and laptop so I assume it's an issue with the Netflix app but changing settings doesn't do anything.

Any help would be much appreciated :)

I hope you found a better alternative for it, there're newer (and for some people way better) alternatives too.

Currently on Citalopram but it literally has no effect on me.

There's no real benefit in sticking to something that makes you feel awful while you still have options - however your dr might not be too inclined to offer them for like their own personal reasons, which was my point. it's not immediately obvious that sometimes you will be better off just talking to a dr that takes your complaints more seriously, given the amount of various biases that potentially contribute to their assessment.

Oh totally. If the doctor isn't taking feedback seriously then they have to go.

  6. I think the general advice is to ride it out for a month. Apparently things can get worse before they get better. I wouldn't expect an instant fix.

I think Zoloft is known as Sertraline over here in the UK. I ended up getting physical shakes and spasms from it after a while so I knew for sure to stop taking that XD

I've been on antidepressants for 9 days and GHYLGADLGAJIODLKGL i just wanna quit. Happy pills sure make me feel like crap physically.

Apart from needing to pee a million times in the evening initially, they've done nothing to change my feelings of inertia...and I've been on them for a few months now. I hope they work their magic on you soon though, dude!

i think i got what you meant here,if no,i'm sorry. But MEJIBRAY was quite impressive with their releases

i admit we had a few filler and pointless tracks here and there but their minis and albums, title track singles, even many b-side tracks were amazing.

always wondered how could those guys keep that level of quality on so many releases in such a short period of time, insane.

Don't get me wrong, they had LOADS of good songs but they also had a ton of crap. I think my issue with them is a lack of consistency.
